chops in cyclone = one helluva time cleaning it at the field

yea yea, i know it says it doesnt chop, sure the cyclone might not chop, but what if your balls are made poorly

Chops are rare in the cyclone, and is usually due to crappy paint, its really not too difficult to clean though. If you buy a used A5 make sure it has an A stamped on the bottom of the cyclone. Also when running on Co2 ( dunno about HPA) when you get down to your last 5 or 6 shots out of your tank, you might have to advance the cyclone mannually, but with so few shots left on your tank it doesn't really matter anyway. Also when you first buy it you may have to tighten the bolt holding the front grip, but once you get that baby cranked on there it wont usually move. If I think of Anything else I'll post or edit it in. Good luck with you next gun!

When I had an A-5 (I sold it :( ), the snap ring tore right off as soon as I attached a sling on it. There are plenty of upgrades for it. The only thing I don't like is the appearence of the A-5's GTA Low-Pressure kit. That's just IMO though. Enjoy your new gun.

The A5 is off teh hizzle. In the event that a ball does break on the cyclone, just run water through it (to where it runs out the barrel adaptor).thtas the only real disadvantage i can think off. Oh, and teh advantages are way better than the Disadvantage. Every bodey dance now!

Nothing really bad to report with my A-5. Just remember that when you get to the end of a tank of CO2 or HPA the cyclone wont feed. Every now and then if I don't tight the front grip enough it will come loose after some heavy RT action. Just like any Tippmann to clean all you have to do is take it apart and give it a good wipe down. The only major problem I have had happen this Sat. My marker wont recock it self. It does have enough blowback pressure or something but thats the only problem I have ever had out of mine. Sending it back to Tippmann for a new one. You will love your A-5 and I commend you on a good choice of marker.
