I'm looking to up grade my current tank (47ci 300psi) pure energy to something bigger. I was looking at some crossfire fiber wraps 68ci and 88ci 3000psi that priced really low compared to others. Any suggestions?

I am in the process of doing kinda the same thing. I remember reading a post by FOM, that he recommends Crossfire tanks for Imp, but not sure why. Also, everyone says to get 4500 psi tank instead of 3K, for future reference that is.

I got the crossfire, because it's cheap, it recarges quickly, and the Impulse already has a maxflo as the secondary reg. I got a fiber-wrapped tank, because it's light.

Thanks for the input! and I'm going to get a crossfire tank. They look like the best bang for the buck.:P

Grrr I am a moron, FOM said CENTERFLAG, not Crossfire... sorry!

But I don't think Crossfire is that bad and you can get dang good deals on ebay for 68ci crossfires

Centerflag are $30 more. I'm sure they're good.

Do the Centerflag tanks have a faster recharge rate? Besides getting a larger tank I also need a fast recharge rate. I put a wermstick on and my pure energy tank cannot keep up. It's insane!

Mission, that's what I read, that out of PMI, Crossfire and Centerflag, Centerflag has the fastest recharge and lowest shootdown. But then you go and read another review and it's all opposite heh.

I know! I figure my best bet would be to ask people here what works and what does not.
