thats Future Ballas of America aka newbs. this is a thread to give advise to newbs, sorry if its been done i dont visit this forum often. the thing that seperates a decent player from a crappy one (usually newb) is how ballsy they are. most experenced players cant stand these kids who run away during a firefight, wont pop up to shoot and take credit for a team's win. IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A NEWB TAKE CHANCES AND LIVE WITH THE OUTCOME!!!!! also dont be afraid to ask questions, just dont pretend to know about something you dont (ive played 5+ yrs and still ask q's and i try to learn as much as possible). and listen to what people tell you on teh field, chances are they are only trying to win and not mad at you. just stay safe and do everything you can (except cheat) to help the team, you will quickly gain respect

Actually, the thing that seperates expirienced players from newer players is their essensial shooting skills and timing. Guts are not needed much in the sporty of paintball most experenced players cant stand these kids who run away during a firefight, wont pop up to shoot and take credit for a team's winYeah, that may be true, but expirienced players wouldnt care what others say, as long as they know that they(themself) did something . IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A NEWB TAKE CHANCES AND LIVE WITH THE OUTCOME!!!!! Yes, a lot of players are afraid to do things in a game, but you cant blame them. They will overcome theyre fear sometime also dont be afraid to ask questions, just dont pretend to know about something you dont (ive played 5+ yrs and still ask q's and i try to learn as much as possible). and listen to what people tell you on teh field, chances are they are only trying to win and not mad at you. just stay safe and do everything you can (except cheat) to help the team, you will quickly gain respect

It takes time. Simple as that. As you play, your style evolves, just like anything will over time. The more you play, the more you learn.

I totally agree with everything he said. In my opion, guts are probably the most important thing. It all depends on they type of player, and possitions though. I rush, and always play front line. Doing this takes alot of balls because the battle is right at your face. Trying to advance at the frontline in the middle of a battle takes balls. If I was with just one player in my group at frontline with me, and I had a crappy gun that not even the best paintballer couldnt make use of... it wouldnt matter much since the battle is near point blank. Having the guts to do crazy things is what usually gets the wins for me... and what I fear the most from an opponent, is a "gutsier" player than I.
all imo
