i already posted this thread a while ago and someone did help me, but i have another question....i have a pmi pure energy regulator and it is leaking air, its not coming from the part where the black meets the crome, its coming from the line below that one, i can't figure out how to open that part up, so if anyone can help me that would be great, thanks a lot

Phone up PMI and ask them how to disassemble your regulator if it came with no instructions. If your regulator did come with instructions, take it apart and check every o-ring in their. Almost all leaks are caused by faulty o-rings, and since your reg doesnt have a valve seat, or any 3 way hose... it's almost definately an o-ring problem :) Look for things like cuts in the o-ring, or if the o-ring is shredded right off, that's also a problem.

And I forgot to mention, if you do find a defective o-ring, you need to replace that :) Get the proper size either from your instruction manual, or directly from PMI
