frankly...i just thought i'd point it out 'cause i think its funny...a FORUM sponsoring a tournament event...

i dont like pbnation for a number of reasons...first, its hard to find truly intelligent members there...most post like me: whatever sounds intelligent, and whatever pops out of the grey matter first. second, the default color-scheme hurts my eyes...i kno u can change it, but im too lazy...third, they dont like us either...and fourth...they're pbnation

A mod from AO once said something along the lines of "I like visiting the other forums besides AO...it gives me a different perspective on things"

I've been here for a few years now, and I visit both AO and PBN on occasion for several reasons. One being that they both offer certain things that PBR doesn't (AO is the center for automags, and PBN is the center for tribals), and two being that each forum is run very differently, and it allows me to see what I like and dislike, as well as what I want to try different here.

I also get to see some of the old faces from this site too ;)

the thing about pbn is if you go there being the noobs most of the people on this site are, theyll go there, post a thread, then get flamed for not searching. its ridiculous. searching is the first thing you should and are supposed to do when you need an answer or are curious on something. then they come back here and go "OMG TEH PBN IS GHEY!!1" shut up, you suck, live wth it.

PBR needs a magazine, that would be awesome.....

Anyway, I dont like PBN, it seems like there are a bunch of 3 year olds running around over there, and the gun forums I just dont like to go in at all, im afraid of what I will find lol, but it does have some perks, all the members (well depends on how you look at it)......thats all I can think of. :P

I don't mind being a small forum community, it allows you to know people better. I have found almost everything i need from PBR, so i don't need anything bigger.


the only gripe i have about PBR is that nobody owns the same gun as me!:( I have no one to talk to about gun care or upgrades or troubleshooting. oh well.

My name is Jon Knapp and I am the editor/owner of Paintball Nation Magazine and I am also one of the former owners of pbnation.com. Due to some legal issues in the past months I have split ways with pbnation.com and that is why pbnatin.com is so vindictive to the magazine (i.e. censoring our domain name)

I wish there wasn't any animosity there but there is. Just wanted everyone to know - Thanks !

By the way if anyone is having trouble getting thier subscriptions or knows someone who is just have them email lost@pbnationmagazine.com and we will take care of it.
