I built my own cocker so I could choose the best of everything. It may not be the best looking gun, even though it looks pretty nice, but it performs just as good as those costing twice as much and Ive never felt a better trigger on any other cocker(ive yet to try thepivot trigger however). The makers of cockers are going to try to sell their gun by the looks mostly. You are paying hundreds of dollars extra for the milling and anoe when you can make the stock cocker just as good with the right upgrades. The issue about how low a cocker can operate is decieving because they can make it really low to use as a gimmick by sacraficing more important things. I say thqt you should make your own with all your favorite parts if you fell confident enough to do it, but some people would rather just buy one.
