View Full Version : mag problem
ok...i got a problem goin on with my mag and ive never heard or seen this before. after i take out my tank, i take out the screw and pull out the quick disconnect and air blows out. then when i take out the internals, the on/off assembly falls out. im thinkin the blast of air pushes it out and makes it loose, so can anyone tell me how to completly de-gas the gun? or maybe it something else. any help is appreciated.

clean all your hoses and take apart the valve and clean and oil it. make sure that you do not remove any of the graphite looking stuff where the back of the valve is.

A guy on my team had the same problem bad, but his marker was brand new. His on/off popped out in the clubhouse and I thought we'd never fine it. Is yours new? Maybe it'll "loosen up" after time. I don't know of a way to be sure the marker is totally degassed. Sometimes I have a pop when I undo my valve, sometimes not. I'd just be sure to only undo the valve when you really need to at home and try not to at the field.
yeah, the mag is new. ive never heard of this before, and i was hopin it was nothin serious. it doesnt seem to affect the performance, anyway. so ill play with it a few times and see what happens. thanks everyone for your help.

Like I said, the other serious cases of this was in a new Mag. I have only owned used Mags and had a small amount of excess gas ;)
