Sweet! Well I got a few questions. How do you like it? How is the trigger pull? How does it run on C02? What performance upgrades have you done if any? Thanks for helping out. I know that is a lot of Q's, but I want to make sure I buy a good product. Thanks for the help.

I like it just fine, its held up with my intense play and it is very reliable and easy to figure out and only takes about 5 seconds to disassemble and reasemble so you can get bak in the game fast. It runs ok on CO2, which I am running right now. But I got a Palmer Stabilizer Male hooked up to my gun so I get a real good preformance off of my tank.... I would suggest getting a Xchamber or a reg if you got the money to spend. I suggest either the palmer male stabilizer or the mac dev w/ co2 seals. I am going to get a drop forward real soon ....I might get it after I am finished with this cause I have a 20 oz. and it feels so damn weird when I am shootin someone down....I can run with the 20 oz. but I can't snap shot as fast as I could with a drop...Oh yeah, I missed a question.....well the trigger pull is frickin awesome......sometimes people think I have an angel.....yeah I know its funny but sometimes it happens cause I can really spit the paint out, it sounds like I am doing 5 or 7 shot bursts...well what I have on it is .....DYE SS barrel| Palmer Stab. Male|12v revy(oh yeah, since the trigger pull is so good I would also suggest a electronic hopper, but if you can't get one, thats ok. But I need one cause I'm just like that)|Macroline setup|soon to come:TKO or PMI drop forward|Maddman Springs|Venturi bolt.......The only problems I have experienced it that sometimes the screws on the trigger boot gets loose and so does the trigger so I would suggest tightening them up any time they feel a little loose cause once in game play your not gunna care and the screws might come off and so will the trigger boot and its not fun to play like that.....I am gunna try to get extra screws cause I already lost one screw.....but thats cause I didn't notice......thats the only problem I can honestly say thats ever happened to me so far..... If you've got any more questions just go ahead and ask........If you want to know where and get one....I got mine at http://www.dropzonepaintball.com there really good and got me my gun the very next day.......or if you find a better place be my guest.........

Hope this helps you out...

Have you played in the winter with your set up? That is pretty much the set up I was looking at, Plamer Stablizer, Anti-Syphon tank. I am just wondering how the CO2 holds up in cold weather.
Thanks again.

Well I do live in the desert......whats snow anyways?????

Just Kidding, I come from the east coast. Well I will be spending my Christmas over in Connecticut. And I'll be playing paintball up there too. So I'll give you the 411 on what happened when I played. I believe that my gun will run smoothly cause of my sweet set-up.....Sorry for the wait....I don't usually get on here but I guess I'll try to get on more often....Talk to yeah later....

inferno's are hella nice, next blowback gun that I get is going to be one, I still don't get how it's not popular, the gun looks nice, and is just as good as an upgraded spyder stock, so go figure. it's a great gun for a rental also, I think they make a model specifically for renting I can't remember right now.

I have a diablo inferno heat, I added the diffuser bolt. Running in on a 68/4500 tank, adjuseted at 500 (lowest I could get it). Works nice. very accurate. Dye 14" SS works well with smaller bore, and the SP 14" TD works awsome w/ Blaze. Really like this marker. Also put in some springs too.

everclear, how many shots are you getting? that's what I got for a tank and when I pick up mine I'm hopin to get quite a few.

diablo welcome, get a pic up!

paintballdiablo
01-09-2002, 04:37 PM
Pic will be coming...once I get everything on it (still gotta add the dye grips and get the 12 volt revy that was ordered about a year ago:) )
Plus I gotta get the digital camera working.

Mr. Y2K
01-09-2002, 04:59 PM
quality. I need a digi cam, and an inferno while I'm at it lol. I'll get one once I'm back from basic training, I think :eyes: I should have enough money to get one and upgrade the hell out of it. I like blowbacks for some reason, go figure :|

paintballdiablo
01-09-2002, 05:16 PM
Yeah....blow backs rule! :P
I love the simplistic design and reliability.
Get a digital camera! They're great! :) :)

Gotta love the Terminator T3's....mine is ultra reliable. I saw you had a Matrix? I'll trade you my Terminator for that! :) :)

Mr. Y2K
01-09-2002, 05:35 PM
hahahaha, well if you said that about 2 weeks ago I would have seriously considered it. but no it's my baby, I've got alot of stuff I still want to do (warp, single trigger with trigger shoe, gold aardy grips, aardy bolt, freak kit, kapp stubby df gold course, get my pewter grips gold plated BLING BLING! lol) so yeah wait till you see pics of my matrix when she's fully upgraded, you'll drool.

I want to get grips for my T3. but I am not sure they would fit on. hey paintballdiablo, what Terminator do yo have? the double trigger or the single trigger? I have the double. anyways.....I really would like to get the diffuser bolt but I wonder if they make on open bolt version for the Terminator cause I saw it only for the closed bolt model. Well its good to know that there are more people appreciating the greatness of th Infern line. Anyways what kind of springs should I put in my inferno? Maddman?

Mr. Y2K
01-10-2002, 03:26 PM
madmans would be the best bet, my fishy works good with em. all inferno's are .45 frames, so that should answer that. the inferno is closed bolt? that's what you make it sound like it is felix, cuz if they do make em as a closed bolt, scew waiting, I'll get one right now

paintballdiablo
01-10-2002, 05:02 PM
I have the double trigger frame. The dye sticky grips work, you may have to do some cutting on it.
It's a blow-back gun. Open bolt. Keep the open hole bolt, don't go for the diffuser. If you ever decide to go low pressure, a bolt with the opening hole on it like it is allows better gas flow. Besides, I heard that the diffuser doesn't affect performance too much.
Actually, I have my pressure set up like this: First regulator I have set at 550 psi, coming out of my tank. Then the second regulator is set around 300 psi. This makes it about 2 to 3 times more accurate, depending on distance. I never had to change the springs, though I might as a future upgrade. It doesn't really need it.
The grips are a helluva lot better. The plastic panels really sucked, mine broke.
Hey Y2K, I got another project for myself:P : I'm gonna put red flames on my black 12 volt revy to match the gun. I'll post some pics when I'm all done. That will probably be a friggin month; the 12 volt STILL didn't come

Mr. Y2K
01-10-2002, 05:11 PM
where did you order from?
well get a clear 12 volt, I know how to spray paint them and get them lookin real perdy. I betcha I could make a bundle offa custom 12 volts if I really wanted to. but very cool. so it's possible to get the inferno as a closed bolt then? ya know without having to send it to a custom shop or take along long time making it that and havin a bunch of stuff on there.
I might send mine to a shop and get alot of it milled. man it would be cool to have a ripper milled inferno. or maybe I can suck up to aardy to make me the clear parts like he did with the tequila matrix.

paintballdiablo
01-10-2002, 05:20 PM
I don't know about converting it. Not sure on that.
I ordered it from Paintballstores.com.
I'm talking about the bolt. The stock has an open hole in front, much like the Cobra bolts on the Angels. The diffuser is just a venturi.
Yeah, it's black, so...oh well. I got some tips and ideas, and I'm good with painting and stuff like that. I think it'll come out good.
Custom milling? That would cool sweet  . I'm not following you on the 'clear parts,' but who cares? I probably won't be able to afford too much more. :D

Mr. Y2K
01-10-2002, 06:41 PM
okay the tequila matrix had body parts that were cut out and had plastic put in place so you could see the bolt move and what not, that's what I would want to do. when I get a smaller pic of the tequila I'll throw it up, you'll know what I mean. so the bolt looks like a stock angel one? very cool.
I guess my inferno will be another project gun of mine then.

Got_Everclear
01-11-2002, 12:34 AM
Whish I could tell you. Don't really know. I haven't gotten out and played since I've got it all set up. Still have to add a Reg. Lower it even furter. It's probly going to be my back up. Savin for a cocker.

Sorry bout that. Just finshed school, so, it's all been messed up recently.

paintballdiablo
01-11-2002, 12:31 PM
Man....I see what you mean. That would be sweet. The only problem is, what would you make clear? Low pressure chamber can't and the bolt sicks out in the back, so you couldn't put a rear clear cover on.
I get about 1100 shots with my sytem and a 20 oz tank. Maybe more or less, or it's hotter or colder out.
Every once and while mine freezes. That's just happened twice. Both times I really pushed it: 25 degree weather, wind blowing at about 30 mph. I then started rapid firing (8-9 balls per second). This froze it, but not because of liquid Co2. It was almost like the bolt froze to the body, since there wasn't any snow, etc.
Hey, Mr. Y2K, there is one really cool thing with the stock bolt on the terminator: there aren't any O-rings on it. It's weird. Less mantaince, but I'm not sure about wear. So far, with 2 cases through, I see absolutely no sign of any marks or scratches.
I'll try to post a couple pics of the bolt later on...

felixthecat
01-11-2002, 06:03 PM
I can get 1300 to 1500 shots off my 20oz. which is pretty nice.....I have seen little damage to my internals since the bolt has no o-rings......maybe just a couple of scratches in there but nothing that would affect the performance of it. I have tried my inferno in cold weather and it wasn't fun....winds gusting and I had crappy paint.....and since I had CO2.....yeah it was pretty bad. well I am glad I am back in the desert where there isn't that much gusting wind (hopefully), and the temperature is perfect all that time for paintballing. I'm gunna go to this big paintball event on Sunday and I hope my gun doesn't start double fireing or starts acting up at the chrono. I have noticed that sometime......or I should probably say more then usual, when I am shooting it stops and then I have to recock it. It bothers me sometimes cause it happens at the worst time like lets say you have a clear view of the field and the other team is advancing and one guy comes out f nowhere and comes closer to you and then you fire but after yo fire you have to recock i cause it stopped.....which pisses me off sometimes.......what do you think that could be? springs? I'm shooting too fast? does this happen to you guys too? I just hope it doesn't happen to me this sunday.

paintballdiablo
01-11-2002, 06:27 PM
No, never had that happen to me.The only time I ever needed to re-cock was after re-filling my Co2 tank or un-cocking it myself, weird. Oh well.
I shoot as fast as I can pull the trigger somethimes (guessing about 10 balls per second, but probably around 8) and never had it de-cock, unless it was super low on air.
You shouldn't need a spring change, if you did nothing with the air system. I put a regulator on my gun, and man did the accuracy improve!!! :)

Mr. Y2K
01-11-2002, 07:41 PM
wow that's not too shabby then. so maybe I'll get a stubby 16 oz. to play with when I get one.
I'm sure the clear parts wouldn't be too too hard, just gotta know how to do it, so I'll suck up to aardvark to see if he'd do it for me :D

paintballdiablo
01-12-2002, 06:10 AM
LOL. :) It is very gas effiecient.
So, how about we do this: You suck up to aardvark and I suck up to you??:) :P
I'd love to see some clear parts on my Terminator!

Mr. Y2K
01-12-2002, 07:30 AM
well you never know. I'll find out when he's not working his shift with the aardvark group and give him a call. well really what I was thinking of doing was exactly how the tequila is. I've got a pic so where the clear parts are, is what I want to do. oh yeah and also the back part where it cocks and what not I wouldn't mind to somehow get in a clearish red thing going on (hope you know what I mean, the matrix can get a clear back plate)
anywho here's the pic.

paintballdiablo
01-12-2002, 11:42 AM
Nice....I want one!:)

See if you can get some clear parts, I'm willing to pay. :P

Mr. Y2K
01-12-2002, 12:22 PM
I'll try and call sometime next week and see what I can do. but you ain't gettin no promises from me. actually you could check up punisher custom's, he might be able to do for you. wouldn't be cheap, but it would be very cool. also what reg did you put on your gun?

paintballdiablo
01-12-2002, 04:15 PM
Nice.....I don't expect any promises.
They're just two CMI in-line regulators. wasn't expecting much from them, but actually turned out really good.
I might get rid of the one CMI and might just put a chrome Black Magic, but they are working the way I want them too. Good addition, especially for 55 dollars a piece.

felixthecat
01-12-2002, 04:46 PM
I'm likein my Palmer Stabilizer......it works pretty good and has made my gun a heck of a lot quieter and more consistent. my barrel helps with the quietness too. Hey my palmer Stab. was probably the same price as your dual regulator. oh well... I like it cause it works for me and it looks cool on my gun :D . but I seriously don't know why my gun stops all of a sudden. I have to investigate this more.......anyways........I am gunna do this big paintball event that's called "Bin Laden Bounty". A popular local rock station will be there. and it has something to do with the new show that's coming out called, "Combat Missions". Its sounds pretty sweet......well, wish me and my gun luck cause I really pray that nothing will go wrong and that everything will run smoothly.

Good Luck!! :D

Hey, do you have a pic of your gun? I was wondering what the Palmer would look like on a Terminator. I might get that or the Black Magic, but not sure how it might feel.

felixthecat
01-12-2002, 08:27 PM
actually the palmer isn't such a bad grip. but I really wish it was closer to the trigger frame so I can shot in more tighter spaces........anyways......my teammate will be taking pictures so I'll have a pic of my gun up here soon. It looks pretty nice. has that shiny,"looks expensive" look to it. Some people confuse it with an Angel......ain't that a kick in the pants. but I like the ten seconds of fame I got with this gun everytime someone looks at it and has no idea what kinda gun it is:wink2:. Its great. Anyways, I am really bored and I can't wait for tomorrow. cause its gunna freakin rock! There's gunna be plenty of fresh newbies, ripe for the picking tomorrow.:badboy:. Well I'll talk to you guys later and give yeahs the scoop on how my gun performed and other crap that might have happened..........later

ahahahahaha, I love that stuff. it's always a classic for newbs to go and just start sayin weird stuff.
I'm tempted to go and polish my matrix so it's a nice silverish colour, but then my gold parts wouldn't match.

paintballdiablo
01-13-2002, 07:22 AM
Go ahead and shine it, give it that gold and silver look. ;)

Well then, I might just have to get a Black Magic or Palmer and get rid of my other one. Nah, I think a 16" barrel hooked up to this gun looks pretty intimidating.
They always do that, I had one kid ask if my gun was a Shocker. Yeah right, sure it is :P . My buddy has a Rebel with an X-chamber and 14 nyte stikk and some people wanted to know if it was an autococker or something.
See, that's one reason I bought the Diablo. The fore-grip and frame were spaced out, perfect for the woods player like me. I also love the all aluminum construction, even the grip frame, unlike the spyders and so forth.
Hey, a side note here, I tried posting a pic of my gun, but it kept saying the file was too large. How do I downsize?

felixthecat
01-17-2002, 02:37 PM
Well I had a good day on sunday. My gun was chrono dam good. the field limit was 300 and my gun was going at 299,298,298,295,297,298. I was really impressed. specially since I am running CO2. Well I guess all that money I put in to getting the palmer paid off. Hey diablo, try changing the format of the pic to a .jpg file or make it smaller which will make the size of the file smaller. Anyways I was happy with the performance of my gun and hopefully It will perform the same way next time I go.

Love the gun. put a diffuser bolt in it. Have a 32deg terminator barrel and it is very accurate!!!! Only questions I have is what is the difference with n2 and how much to switch?

felixthecat
01-18-2002, 06:12 PM
Well N2 is more consistent and you can get a better shot radius(meaning moe accurate) and more distance......its a good upgrade......well you will need an N2 tank(duh), and a regulator. there not so expensive. you can get a PMI reg for a good price. or maybe a vigilante reg. but its all on how much you want to dish out for it. you can look under Air systems at http//www.actionvillage.com , and you should find a sections called regulaters and N2 tanks. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask.

Mr. Y2K
01-19-2002, 08:54 AM
personally for an inferno I'd buy a thor reg and a pmi 68/45k preset tank. something like that runs perfectly fine on my fishy, so I see no reason why another blowback wouldn't give the same results.
