Everyone in Calgary is running a Gladiator, Ceterflag, or PMI reg. They all seem to be giving about the same results. Now just figure out how much you want to spend. $200 (centerflag approx.), $100 (Gladiator approx.), or $60 (PMI approx). And remember, all of these prices are CANADIAN.

well im using a gladiator and i am very happy with it, sidewinders are great regs too. for a timmi i would stay with a high end reg, either a gladiator, stabalizer, sidewinder or max flow, or something along those lines. dont skimp on the reg, it might cause shoot down for a fasst gun like a timmi, i have no shoot down or consistency problems with my gladiator.

Yeah I'd go against the PMI reg, I've seen some bad consistencies with em, but hey, that's just my opinion. My choices for the 2 best regs right now are the AKALMP Sidewinder (best reg IMO) and the MacDev Gladiator (my second choice). Another good reg to consider is the Vigilante/messiah from Air America. It's not as consistent as the sidewinder but flows high enough to keep up with a timmy, and is built to be very reliable. However, for the very best consistency, my vote goes for the sidewinder

People have never given the PMI products the respect that they deserve. These regs are being used by Aftershock. Yes they are a PMI sponsored team, but if the products were crap and/or costing them games do you think they would still be using them? A couple members of Aftershock have been using timmy's. As well as cockers, Matrix, and I believe a couple of Angels. These PMI regs have been great performing regs through out their trial period with us on about 10 different timmy's. The results were so good, infact, that 9 out of 10 of the people here have decided to keep using them. GBeef, go into M.R. and ask Byron. Go onto the Calgary website and ask people what they think about the PMI regs on their timmy's. Byron had the Gladiator on his. He now uses the PMI reg on both of his timmy's. Like everything else in paintball, it's a matter of opinion. This is one thing that I know the El Twitcho is wrong about (no offence Twitch). People look past it because of it's price. Cost doesn't always mean quality. This is one quality product that comes with a cheap price tag.

None taken, however this is one thing I know I'm right about. While it is true that they are sponsored by PMI, they use PMI tanks, very few of them (if any) that I know of use PMI regs as well. A few of them use angels with the stock minireg on there, a couple use shocktech cockers with a couple of different regs (none of which I've seen have been PE regs) and I've even seen a player for shock using a mag. I've yet to see one using a pure energy regulator. While I agree 200% that PMI makes incredibly good preset tanks, I feel their regs aren't entirely up to par, both from things I've heard from other players and my experience firsthand

A few of my customers have been using the ANS Gen X-2 regs with a lot of success. They look sharp on the marker too. They come in most of the same colors.

i have to agree with mike from county. i use a gen-X2 on my timmy and have wonderful results with it. i have never had any problems out of it and it doesn't shoot down. i personally would go with that.

I think, as far as I know, since aftershock is not using much other PMI Equipment they where asked by PMI to use the regs or the might loose sponsorship. Thats just my idea.

Yeah but they dont use em man. They all use PE tanks but I've yet to see one using the regs. I'm sure some of em do or had used em in the past, but just the guys playing with angels or mags alone makes up a decent contingent that dont use the regs
