Aside from safety concerns, what happens if you keep the Co2 tank on when your not playing? Would it tear up the hose or something?

How long are you talking about? If you leave it on too long it could weaken your spring from being compressed too long.

You SHOULD be fine, but don't leave it in a car or something. It's easiest just to take it off.

In theory it should be fine if its left like that for a while, like a couple of days. Can i ask, why would you want to leave it on that long anyways?

ya dude take it off. and buy a thred protector for bout 4 Bucks at ur local dicks or sports athority. it protect ur threads
