i would go with the timi(it's what i have)
honestly i have never shot a defiant but i have felt them and heard stories.
(THESE ARE JUST MY OPINIONS)
Intimidator!!!!
pros:
1) anti-chop eye (handles 99% of potential ball breaks)
2) 14 bps, over the defiants 13
3) low pressure of like 225psi (IF you get the lp mod)
cons:
1) diffacult to maintain the first or second time you clean it, but it's a breeze after a few times
2) potential air hog if you get the lp mod

the timmis is going to cost more to get it set up, because out of the box you need an inline reg, drop forward/cradle, and hoses and fittings. but the timmi will be a better gun IMO, it has a nice anti chop eye, looks better, bob long support, 3-way adjustable trigger and much more. both guns are going to run at a low pressure, my bushy (basically the same as a defiant) runs at about 200 psi. if you have the money, i would get a timmi and a gladiator reg for it.

yeah i'd definately go with the timmy it's a much better marker hands down. it's also faster and has lots of neat options.

I the intimadator is good, the defiant is good, the timmy is better stock, but you have to buy a gas through grip for it (no biggy) but for a recballer i would recommend a timmy. the defiant shares all the upgrades with the bushy which is nice. The timmy won't need a reg unless you do the Low Pressure mod, and i wouldn't recommed that for rec ball, it is only really helpful if you want to get that little extra.
vvvvvvvv My Defiant owns vvvvvvvv
