yes , but couple recomendments new trigger(cp roller trigger its awesome faster than the blade),Bolt, Tapeworm, and barrel get the barrel last. If u dont get a new bolt or tapeworm ur bolt will stick and lose tons of air.

What he said is very true. But if your not looking to upgrade right away you should be alright for the time being, one would want to do all those things, yes, but if its not in the budget don't worry about it to much, gotta have money to play those expensive tourneys. Also make sure you have an agitating hopper as the Impulse is pretty fast out of the box and without one you'll chop paint often. Consider HPA too, althought the Impy is realitivly good on Co2 HPA is always gonna give you better results. Above all just make sure you have the money to get your marker and to play touneys. It sucks to have a $500+ marker lying around but no money to use it in a tourney. Good luck man.

ya man get an impulse..its a great tourny gun in my opinion
about da tape worm....it will save u alot of frustration...it does convenient things like alow u to dry fire...it only cost around 15-20$
i think an impulse with a tape worm is diffentally worthy of a rookie tournament....its not the best but is a great gun
an if u want to make it the best gun it is very possible ...so u can upgrade at any time 4real

well at my local shop the owner has a used 2k3 impulse with a new low rise adapter and an all american barrel for only 300, and it already has an eblade trigger on it, so maybe like another 100-150 on upgrades, and another thing the impulse is low pressure right, so if i get a high pressure HPA tank will i have to get another low pressure tank for the impy

my tank is HP and the maxxy works great with no problems.
Get the impy at ur local shop, get a tapeworm, if its a vertical max-flo get a drop (32* long drop is perfect for me), ND equalizer bolt, ND high flow valve, ND slick shot hammer shaft, and a brass hammer. (oh btw, ND is New Designz if u didn't know)
