I know that this is going to contradict my earlier post, but here goes.I was wondering what everyone thinks I should go for as my next gun.A completely custom, tricked out 'cocker,an Airtech E-Matrix,a Pro-Team retro Micromag,an Angel,or a Bob Long Intimidator? The gun has to be durable, reliable, accurate, quiet, and fast.I am leery of electros, mostly because I KNOW that I will forget do charge or replace the batteries, that I WILL accidentally leave it on for a month or two,and that I Will accidentally get oil or water where it does not belong. As before mentioned, the cocker will have all top of the line parts in it,nothing stock except for the bolt, sear, and trigger pin.The cocker,Intimidator, and Angel will cost about the same in the end,and the Mag coming in a close second.I know that everyone here will say get the timi, but I am not sure if I REALLY want an electro as my second gun.

I would not get the angel as your second marker. It will be to confusing if it ever goes down. The timmy is a pretty basic electro. Everything should be able to be diagnosed in it and fixed with little to no hassle. A high end cocker would also be a nice choice. They will require more attention for maintainence then the timy will though. If you can do it, go out and shoot the markers that you are thinkin about buying. Talk to the people and ask them questions about it. Angel users (generalization. Not all Angel users are like this) tend to leave out most of the negative things about their markers. Especially about chopping paint. Most everyone else seems to be pretty straight up about their markers.

I cannot exactly go out and shoot the guns, because I will be custom assembling the cocker if I got it,and no one around here owns anything except for a basic cocker, and a bunch of M98.I think that I'll get the mag, just because of the durability, ruggedness, ease of use,and the price ($600 cheaper than cocker, and the mag is loaded to the breaking point, but non electro)

I understand that you can't go and shoot the cocker that you want to build. But you can possibly shoot an angel. Maybe an intimidator. I don't think you will end up liking the mag. Just a guess, you might like it. An electro marker or a cocker is the way to go in my mind. Shoot as mant different markers as you can. It will help. Try and buy something used. Get a local shop to look at it before you buy it to make sure it is in good condition. That way you don't go out and spend a bundle to find out you don't like it.

Thanks for the imput, but as before said, there is one basically stock cocker, and a bunch of model 98s.Also,the most expensive thing that my local shop sells is paint:) .All of the good shops are at least an hour away (and I can't get that far on my bike).I have a friend that knows alot about the different guns (even though he probably has never even seen half of them in person).I'll have to get his opinion on the subject, too.I know that this is probably the wrong thing to say in this forum, but I will probably get a mag.The more complicated things get,the bigger my headache gets (until I read the manual). The cocker and angel would cost about the same to get everything I would need (just over $1800),and the Mag,Timi, and Matrix about the same (in the general area of $1300).I want to be different that most of the people around here, but not so different as to being completely alone and without help.

Angels nearly never go down.
