yah im new at semi-auto guns and i was wondering what i could do to get my accuracy better,i have a raptor extreme with the stock barrel,it might be because i use ****ty brass eagle paint balls but when i shoot the gun has so much power that the paintball curve like a damn plane trying to miss another plane.... well anyways i know marbalizers are nice paintballs but im not rich,i have money but not enuff to spend it on marbalizers,is it the paintballs, the stock barrel?

reply please

Hey, from what I've heard and my experiences, the barrel can have alot to do with the aim of the gun. Plus if you think the ball is shooting really fast try messing with the velocity. As far as it coming from the paintballs, I've read some that this could happen. The paint I like to use are the PMI Premiums, (don't be confused by the RPS Premium Gold, I've found the Premiums for around 45$ for 2000balls.
It still may seem a little much, but it's the best for your money in my opinion. About the only downside I've heard about this is that sometimes they tend to bounce off targets, but I've never had this happen yet so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

The barrel is the most impmortant part of accuracy. Id buy a j&j or boomstick. Also, an imortna aspect in accuracy would also be a good paint to barrel match, so mayeb u shoudl use better paint, and find one that fits ur barerle the best. That wil hlep with ur accuracy

those are probably the guys that can't play worth crap, and can't admit it, so they vent their anger out on some guy that has a BE, trying to hide that the guy with the BE has more skill than they do :D

look at it this way....if you spend alittle more on the paint ....the kind that fits your barrel you will not have to shoot as much to hit your target....you will save in the long run....and hey.....if your marker gets you out to the field and can throw paint....it works for me...

I just got some PMI premiums for 27$(1000 case) at http://www.acepaintball.com
I'll tell you how they do!

Barrel and paint-to-barrel match have a lot to do with how accurate your marker is. But don't forget proper firing technique. I've noticed that when I try to shoot faster, I jiggle the marker a little bit, causing the barrel to dip down ever so slightly. This is gonna affect where the ball goes. Also, I'd think CO2 vs Nitro/HPA can affect accuracy ... If you're shooting CO2 and you get a lot of velocity spikes, this will affect how far the ball travels and possibly it's trajectory. Just something to think about anyway.

Yes. TL is a good moderator, but only because those of us who've been on this forum for a while keep his Scrawny Flintstones Chewable Gobbling Booty in line ... It's a hard job, but we try.

get a better gun, with an aftermarket barrel and you'll be fine as long as you shoot good the same bore paint as barrel.

Hey,my freind has got a silver eagle and it does just fine and is pretty accurate even with BE but i think some BE paintballs are different quaility cause i has those black and yellow while my freind has turquise blue and orange.HE broke about a 30 and I broke 1. SO i might be wrong but thats my opinion.

hrmm..sounds like you got fresh paintballs and he got the ones that were sitting there for a month or two..usually if you buy them at a proshop, they tend to be fresher than if you buy them off of a walmart shelf..

From my experiences, you do not want to use B.E. paintballs... The time in which I used 'em, they were all completely lopsided. That was about a year ago, maybe they make their paint of higher quality now... First of all, try a new barrel. Recommendations are: CP, Lapco, or DYE. Be sure you get a good paint match too, in order to get the maximum performance out of your barrel. From what I know all those barrels are medium bored, go with PMI Premium, excellent quality paint. However, if you don't get a DYE Aluminum or SS and decide for a Boomstick, you'll want to start shooting medium-small paint, go with Marbalizer.

For all you guys that are suggesting these barrels that are 100$ or so - remember he said he wasn't rich. If he won't buy 60$ marbilizers why'd he buy this. I'd buy a custom products barrel for 50$. I have one, i might upgrade... but i've never had paint bust in it after about 7 or 8 thousand rounds so far.

I know what you mean-the barrel is sized for BE paint- and BE paint is the biggest you can buy. I think it is.69 or .691. If you want different paint- you need a new barrel- or it will just get worse
