If you go ahead and get a nitro tank for your A-5 without getting a low pressure system how is the preformance and efficiency varied? Also, whats the best way to use compressed air without spending a lot of money or sacraficing looks and stuff with a big ugly low pressure chamber between your foregrip and trigger handle. If you can answer, what does low pressure really help do? sorry for all the questions

well, i have limited experience with HPA but i'll try bc nobody else has yet. without the LPK, i don't think too much will change... and low pressure makes you more efficient, quieter, and i'm not sure what all else... sorry i cant tell ya more. and i think a low pressure chamber doesn't do a whole lot, i may be wrong.

With HPA, you'll get better consistency. Depending on how big your tank is, that will determine how much you'll get from the tank.
With the LP kit, you'll get better efficiency as well. Though I'm not sure how well the cyclone will be able to handle LP.

My friend Greedy has a 70/4500 Worr gas on his A-5 and he gets 650 shots running at 800psi with a 2800 hot fill.
The myth of the cyclone eating gas is just that, a myth.

Hhmmmmm......that sounds good! Any ideas on a good reg. or whatnot that could help it anymore in anyways? Like maybe a lighter bolt or something.....

DO NOT MESS WITH THE BOLT it won't do anything positive for your marker.
I use a WGP Ergo reg, others often used with the A-5 are Sidewinders and Palmers. I've only used the Ergo but I've heard great things about the Sidewinder and the Palmers.
Do a search and check the reviews for further information. We don't like to repeat ourselves too much.

I'm not so sure that the cyclone doesn't eat gas. Don't get me wrong, I'm completely satisfied with my A-5, but go to Tippmann's website and look at the shots per 9oz tank under the A-5. According to that chart, the A-5 gets 250 shots to the 98's 500. I don't know if those 250 shots worth of CO2 are going to the cyclone but 50% fewer shots than a 98 is definitely a noticeable difference and it's got to be going somewhere.

I've never put Co2 on it so I'm not sure if there would be a consistancy difference between the two tanks (more than likely yes though).
In my particular case with my particular gun I can go through 3 140 round pods and a 230 Round APP Hopper on a 2800 hot fill before I have to refill with my HPA tank.
