I was originally wanting to get a FREAK with an AA front. I had seen how the paintballs flew accurately as if playing follow the leader. But also, i have heard alot of great things about the ultralite. What barrel would be better for some1 with an A-5, running on c02, and using a small range of bore sizes from draxxus dusk sized paint to the more bulky or older paint. Im looking for mostly accuracy as well as noise and being able to shoot through a break.

I would go with a Freak system...just because most of what has to do with accuracy in paintball is paint to barrel match...and having the selection of different bore sizes gives you that edge. While the UL on the otherhand...has only one bore size...althought its a nice barrel and all...systems will always have the edge.

The Ultralite is way better than the freak. It outperforms it any day of the week.

You have an open bolt gun and you don't need a kit. Anyone who tells you that you need a kit is LYING to you. Take a freak, match the paint to an insert, and then go up two inserts in size. You will shoot the exact same, I guarantee it.

As long as your barrel is bigger than your paint and you aren't using really really tiny paint, you will be just fine. By tiny I mean like > .680

Just get a .688 Ultralite and be glad you have a great barrel.
