Im gettin my tl+ thursday and am gonna play this weekend and i bmx and wear gloves cuz my hands get blisterd and when i fall i dont cut em i was gonna wear my gloves for paintballin but my friend said only ***** wussies wear, and that people would make fun of me, :( is it tru :eyes: ?

NO. your friend sounds like an idiot. go ahead and wear gloves... First off, if they protect your hands from getting blistered, WEAR THEM. I rarely fall... I mostly wear gloves cause it feels comfortable holding the handle with it... and also it looks cool!

but if anyone says something at the field just shoot them in the hand and say

"oops, if only you had had gloves on that wouldn't of hurt"

If you would like to prove him wrong, shoot him in the nuckles..... OUCH!! I got shot in my nuckles and it broke skin.... hurt like an itch....

IMO gloves look pretty cool, and if it gives you protection, WEAR IT!

Wear them anyways. I wear gloves sometimes (only if it's colder out) because hand hits sting a lot. I bunkered my friend yesterday and shot him in the bare hand and it was bleeding a little bit. So wear the gloves.

Tell your friend that well over 75 percent of tourney players wear gloves (including myself) and gloves or not, they'd still bunker the sh*t outta his ***** a*s

I wear gloves, espicially when I play indoor fields because everything is so slimy with paint and I dont want to get it all over my hands because then they will be all oily for the rest of the day. I also wear gloves outdoors because I live in oregon and its cold. Protecting my hands from paintballs is not really the goal of me wearing gloves because just wear those really thing stretch gloves. But anyways, WEAR GLOVES.

i highly recommend you wear them
i didnt wear them for one game and got shot in the finger and the broken pieces of the shell cut my skin

Tell would you not want to be able to go to school the next day or at least not be able to do certain things because your hands are all ****ed up from playing paintball that weekend and falling on briyers? Well besides the point of skipping school wear the damn things!! Leave your friend to be the one with scars on his hand while you have good hands to keep lighting him up.

I didn't wear gloves for a long time....until some idiot shoot me in the knuckle with a hot gun....almost broke my finger....and people have been known to get a pinky broken with a paintball...needless to say..I always wear gloves now....

Yeah, I used to not wear gloves, then i got shot between the middle and ring fingers. It left a circular scare for about a month, I had a stream of blood going down my arm, and had to skip a game to wash it off, pull out all of the paintchips from my skin and bandage it. It was quite painful at the time. I have gloves now.

its a good idea to get the ones with plastic on the back of your hand. Then when you get stuck in a particullaly nasty fire fight, your eliminated and you forgot to wear your cup, just place it over your groin. Trust me you'll be glad.

Paintball isn't about being macho or a tough guy. I know some "wimpy" guys that could wipe the floor with "stronger" guys when it comes to paintball. It's about smarts...and if your friend isn't smart enough to wear gloves, then that's his problem.

Put the gloves on, and save your knuckles.

(Knuckles with a K guys...*chuckles*)

Well they might make fun of you cuz they are BMX gloves.

Other than that i wear gloves and no one makes fun of me for wearing them. Besides that i would kick them in the nards

every time i play i wear gloves. i did ever since the 1st time i got shot in the hand. the shell stuck right in between my fingers and i was freakin out because i thought it would splinter up and i'd grow shell into my hand. all the paint and blood was mixing up and filled my whole hand.
now i wear the stylish jt2ks (i think :confused: ) i dunno they're the cool ones, they're real comfortable, and i can shoot faster (dont ask me how, it just somehow works out)
