I just got an air fill today so I could do some target practice and to see if there any problems since I just installed a tapeworm, low rise, SP on/off, and sidewinder. (I was using a halo B) Well, everythig was fine to start out. No leaks. I started walking and I chopped like twice in like the first ten shots.:pissed: Correct me if I'm wrong but Halo B+low rise=fast like:eek: Then later on, I got bolt stick (only once the whole time though) and I thought that the tapeworm took care of that problem. So..
What has turned my gun into a blender because I have no idea, and I am now seriously thinking of selling this and buying a mag.   :pissed:

did you re adjust your dwell settings and input pressure? thats the first thing you gotta do if you make any changes to your gun.

For the chops maybe you were double feeding with the halo. Sometimes the stock detents are to weak for the halo and it double feeds.

Damn you mean I gotta put more money into this gun?:banghead: GRRRRR. Well, anyway what detents would you recomend and when it says "ball detent" is that one or two? Would the halo tsa double feed?

I heard new designzm ball detents. i have somthing against spending 25$ for some ball detent. so i sold my halo b for 110 on ebay and gotta egg. ahvent chopped since. when i used to play id chop like 1 time a game then keep chopping till i cleaned my gun. it probably the halo. if you dont wnat to do that get the detents.

if your using vision you will need one long detent for the vision eye cover side. A short on the left side regardless.

so when I'm paying like 13 bucks at epbo i'm only getting one detent? Also can I use long detents on the vision side even if I don't have vision?

new designz detents are what you want. buy one set of long for 25$ and one set of shot for another 25$. no, vision detents only work if you have the vision eye guard.

you could just take out your detent springs and stretch them out a bit.

i wouldnt do that. i would get a short detent on the vision side if you do not have vision...yeh new designz are the way to go...

I'm gonna try to stretch the springs a bit first. If that doesn't work I'll buy a set of short detents. Thanx to everyone.

Oh yeah and would the halo tsa double feed?

03-17-2004, 02:03 PM
No i dont think it would, since its not a force feed hopper like the halo b, i think.

correct ratimpy, the halo tsa will not double feed like the halo B (although with the right detents, the halo B won't either). it won't feed as fast though, it'll feed more like a revi but a little more consistant (not the huge difference which is suggested by their msrp's). if you don't like halo B's then buy an evoII.
