I live in a desert, basically. In the summer, we use a swamp cooler to cool down the house. It works by cooling the air by introducing water. So, is it better to store paint in a dry, hot place, or a cool, somewhat humid place?

try to keep the paintballs as afar away from the swamp cooler as possible but still have it so theyre moderately cool.

I live in Phoenix and we always use the swamp cooler, AC is too expensive.
The closet is the best place since no moisture enters in.
Humidity is usually bad because a paintball is biodegradble by moisture. The paintball thins out and becomes soft, definetly not what you want. The closet would be a best bet, or maybe under your bed(if large enough).

If you get moisture in your paint, over a short period of time it will swell up and not break when you shoot it. It will basically turn into a bouncy ball

Leave a paintball outside when it's raining, then look at it the next day.

The ball will be all swelled up and bouncy like I said.
