if you want hella fast for cheap go for the impulse.
but if you want to tinker and upgrade the hell out of a gun go with a cocker. but the cocker may require more maintenece.
theyre both great.

go to a local field, shoot both, and see which one you like best. If you really want high ROF, go with Impy. Personally I would go with cocker(and I did(see setup))

standard impulse, and then upgrade to an eq board

what type of paintball are you playing? woodsball, speedball? for woodsball ide say an Armotech WG-65 RIS Elite *drool*
for speedball ide look for a Mars EVO, very nice... highly reliable... (and if anyone says its an overpriced spyder they should be slapped...)

I think we have an armotech fan on our hands. ;) But I would go with asa4575's advise. :)

hey... what can i say? they've been really really good to me. although the only downfall is i get more surrenders than anything with this gun... heat of battle, automaticaly recognize the M-16 sillouette, smart thing is to drop your weapon and put your hands behind your head!
although ide still love a Mar EVO Gold, heh... just for those who think thier angels and cockers are the best looking things on the field... yeah, right... my exgirlfriend looks better than them....

b2k4 with PDS from http://www.shootpaint.com
when compared to an impulse it will weigh less, look better, and perform better out of the box.
