i see alot of tippmanns, alot on here, and most of them have x chambers, not regs. why is this? they dotn use nitro, wich could be the cause for xchambers, because they really just look cool with nitro, but you mostly use co2. and why not use a reg and a/s your tank instead of wasting on a x chamber?

Remember a x chamber is designed to restrict flow of liquid co2 a reg does not, an x has baffles that helps the liquid co2 evaporate, a regulator regulates pressure and does not stop the flow of liquid co2, th optimal setup would be a remote as an xchamber and a vertical inline regulator

actually, a regulator does HELP stop liquid co2, more so than an x chamber i would say my friend uses a remote and a palmers inline, and my xtra is far more accurate, and he also has a kit, he uses the PIPE. but thats ok ill respect your opion.
if im not mistaking, most people switched to regs, because the stopped liquid co2,help with consistency, and helped accuracy, unliek x chambers, were they give liquid tiem to expand into gas...... but thats just what i think.

actually we have tested it regs VS a good x chamber aci 6 or AA 6
and for stopping liquid the x's stopped liquid longer than the regs 100% of the time.
bad x's are GTA and many others that act as a gas thru is all
to test we ran a small 1/8" clear tube to the inlet side of each, reg or x and a release valve at a preset rate of release and waited till snow came out the 1/8" tube at the other side, we figured the rate of release at around 11 bps
by the way the palmer tested better than any other reg
and very close to the aci 6 chamber, and better than most x'x worst of the lot was the ol gta and system x foam filled thingy LOL
