I think I saw that before. They were using paintball guns to shoot pepper balls, right? Why's that such a big deal? It's just a form of security by the police... Not a very good one, because I bet it stings your eyes like Hell, but, eh, they gotta do what they gotta do.

Utilize a unique combination of kinetic impact, psychological shock, and PAVA (Capsaicin II) powder to irritate and gain compliance

Can be used to saturate areas at distances up to 150 feet

Consist of a variety of launcher options that convey a visual threat to suspects

Can be quickly deployed when unanticipated situations arise

Depending on the PepperBall Launcher, between six and 12 PepperBall Projectiles can be deployed per second. The rounds are fired at a velocity of between 350 to 380 feet per second.

I saw summa that crazy pepperball stuff in a popular science. It looked like one of those tippmann sumthin 68 dealies... And it had a 23 inch barrel. :eyes: :laugh: ( at least that's what the caption said, It didn't look THAT long!)

and dang 350-380! I'd cry. :bawling:

Don't worry, everyone would; they're pepper balls remember? It's kind of the whole point of them.
