oh when i get a scanner i will show u since i got no digital camera but i got 2 pics, 1 was when i got shot by a noob while walking on he was shooting at the chrony the wrong way (idiot) and it lead into the place where u watch from and he got me right near the eye and its like all wierd colours. :eyes: :eyes:

Sorry I dont have a pic because it took place two months ago. My friend shot me at point blank on my left leg and I had a bruise for two weeks. It was right behind you kneecap (a little bit above too) and it was huge. Im talking the size of two or three adult fists. It blew a blood vessel and at first it was just a small red circle and it spread overnight.

playing yesterday ... me and this other guy are in a building, he's picking out the window, I'm about two feet from him. He ducks down, and when he does, he accidently fire off a round, that hit my elbow. Not only did it take most of the skin off my elbow, but I've got this wicked bruise and the joint hurts like hell ... needless to say, we dominated the field after that.

I think it's in places w/out muscle, cuz I got hit in the bicep and all it made was a welt about the size of the ball, and that was at fairly close distance.

I no someone who got shot with a frozen paintball and it broke the skin and was so cold it got stuck on him. I had one the size of that guy that someone said had got shot with a mellon. I also come home ALOT with them about 1/2 to 1/4 that size and we play at 280

man.... those are some nasty bruises but they are in pretty tough places... the only place i could see getting a bruise is the kidneys or the thighs.... anywhere else and you guys either suck and got pegged at close range or bruise really easily

I got ambushed one time and got shot in the neck, three times in the side, my inner right thigh (really close to my jumblies), and twice down my right leg. All of them went away fairly quickly except for the one on the inside of my leg scarred or something for 6 months. It's gone now, but it wasn't too cool when I got it.

I don't have a picture, but I have a story. Back in the day when I used a rental Tippmann, this dude with an Automag walked in. It was the first time I saw anything like it. I also learnt that he had been playing for 8 years. I was totally freaked out when he went onto the opponents team. The game started and I ran to a bunker. I was playing front and I noticed that the Automag dude took out both of our right players. Being the closest to him I started firing. Being the scared n00b that I was, I didn't hit him. I had so much adrenaline pumping that I didn't notice how he had shot me 10-15 times (I kid you not) on my back. I walked out when I noticed a break on my hopper.

I still have 4 scars that look like a cat's claw marks, expect that they're a lot thicker. Each of them are a good 3 inches long as well. I'll post a picture when I get time :D.

speaking of bruises i gave my friend 5 from point blank. at an outdoor arena located near me there is a barn. there is a door that is shut at the far end of it. i thought i would sneak in the door and get my friend. i graabed the door handle and felt it turn in my hand so i let go and my friend came out. i yelled "mercykill!" and got no reply so i accidentally went trigger happy hitting him 5 times

This happened a few weeks ago when I played....

We were playing a game called POW my friend made up and I was the hostage. I was sitting by a log, and my friend came up and hid behind it. Then he started shooting at this one kid he got out real fast, so someone else turns toward him and starts unloading. I'm sitting in front of this log right? Anyways my stuff is next to it....and the whole time my stuff and me are getting nailed. At the end of it all I had a 4" wide bruise on my theigh. Two inches higher and I woulda been crying. I was pissed at both of them for a bit, but I got over it....it was there for a long time though.

yes, i an very confused. Man all them are wussy bruizes :D . My nickname is Bruzr (pronounced bruizer) I got that nickname from baseball. The pitcher was being wild and he was hitting the ground right before the plate and it was bouncing to the left, so....... i blocked it with my body........ 6 or 7 times. It was hitting the same spot so all i could do was block it and knock it down. After that practice i had a huge bright red bruise that was about the size of a baseball. A couple days after it began to turn bright blue, then purple, then green, then eventually yellow.

Well, this one is about baseball too, but it's too good to not tell. One day we were doing pitching drills on flat ground, not off a mound, so instead of it being pitcher/catcher, it was pitcher/pitcher. So when it was my turn to catch, i got down and this guy who was throwing about 85 threw a cutting fast ball that moved and hit me square in my right shin. I said a steady stream of cuss words for about 5 min after that, and i couldn't even stand up for most of that time. I was gonna be a tough guy and not go put ice on it, but it started to swell up and it looked like someone had put 3/4 of a tennis ball under my skin. The first 3 ppl i showed didn't believe me(i had on baseball socks) and thought i had something under there, but when i pulled the sock down they were like "HOLY ****!" and one told coach who made me go see the trainer. The trainer said it was the worst one he had seen in his 17 years. Over the next two weeks it turned dark purple to dark purple/w/ pink spots, to pink and yellow, to yellow and green and then the yellow/green stuff all ran down and made my foot that color. I took a picture, but I have no clue where it is, i'll post if i find it.

Well i was standing right by the exit, and he leaned his gun to put on his barrel plug. Unfortunatly his barrel tip was right against my leg and he still had one ball in his gun. So of course he tapped the trigger and shot me POINT BLANK right on the theigh. I mean HIS BARREL WAS TOUCHING MY LEG. well i forgave him, but it left a nasty welt that was bleeding and left a nice letter crater. Yea that hurt a lot

Don't feel bad... I was at an indoor feild just north of Nashville and the ref there was tinkering with his gun and he shot himself in the hand pointblank. He was holding the gun by the front of the barrel or something and POP!! Not only that, his g/f was there so he was trying to be tough about it in front of her... One of the funniest hits I've seen!

I found those pictures of that bruise, but they're not of the best quality. You can't really see any of the color of the bruise, but you can definitely see how swolen it was. Heh, I have some hairy *** legs though, so it isn't as clear as it could be.

Hi. I'm new to this whole thing and yeah. Found this forum and I got something to share since I just got a couple really bad bruises yesterday. Yesterday was my second day ever playing paintball and we were playing in the woods, so since there wasn't any rules for bunkering or the speed thing for the gun, it was pretty brutal out there. My last game, everyone on my team was shot and I was the only left, so of course, I got slaughtered (I believe those guys cheated, but hey, couldn't do anything about it.) I got bunkered(within five feet) by three guys. They're so mean! I got a really bad bruise from [I think it] was a mini-mag. Check the pic out! Enjoy. Mind my hair, it's messy. Is it suppose to be that bad? It doesn't really hurt, only when ya poke it. lol. And...Yeah, that's it. Baiz!

u guys should go to the doctors and get urself checked over cuz those bruises are sick. i got bunkered by a noob ploayer with a not so noob gun (matrix) he bunkered me and shot me from like maybe 2 feet away. it hurt soo bad so when we got off the field i told him to chrono his gun he was shooting mad high fps way over the 260 limit.

I was playing a 3vs5 and I was on the 3 team, but during the game, my friend and I started having some problems with our guns and the other guy was way over somewhere, so we couldn't like get him. Anyway, my friend called out and I was there, shooting at three of the guys on the opposite team and my other teammate let someone sneak around the whole field, so I got shot like... *counting*... five times that game, three didn't pop. On my thigh, I was shot twice, so that's why the bruise is so big and plus, those guys had their velocities on high (damn them.) Take a looksie. And yes, I know my arms are darker than my legs, that's what happens when you hate shorts and skirts and going out with anything not covering your legs. I'm paranoid. :( Gotta stay outta the sun as much as possible for like a year... I also got a little bruise on my knee, because I was kneeling down a rock for a while and didn't notice for a bit. :crazy:

I think I have you all topped for awhile into the future. Well the stroy goes is that last Sunday my team had a 3-man tourney and our back man was down in Flordia "we live in MD" so we had to pick up this n00b with a Tippy98, take out his response trigger since it was illegal and let him play as back in out tourney since he was tall and a bit if not alot chunky. So I'm playing front like I usually do and I'm owning most of the other teams because we are in the 15 & under division but usually play Rookie. But I have 6 welts that are bleeding and have blood blisters all around the outside of the little circle bruise becuase i was bunkered twice that day and it was becuase out n00bie back player saw them but did not tell me even though i did get one of the guys who bunkered me out by disputiong with a ref. So on my way to the dead box the n00bie told me he saw them do it 2 me and i said, can you see this and i drilled about 3 paintballs into his but with a borrowed 98' LED Angel. Long Story Short, a bunch of other crap happened but having my g/f their and sit on my lap awhile between games cooled me down.

I was playin in a 3 man tourney in austin, texas on june 6. My team and i normally play young guns but we decided to move up to rookie for this tourney, and we were by far the youngest team in the division. This tourney was different for us cause our velocity could be 300 fps instead of the normal young gun 275 fps, and the refs only checked the velocity at the begining of every round instead of the begining of every game. Anyway, we made it into the semis in second but we sucked it up in the semis. In the last game of the semi-finals, my 2 other team members go out so it was 1 on 3. I held them off for a while but in the end, all 3 of them charged me and while i was shooting out one side of my bunker, one of them came around the other side of the bunker, and i didnt quite spin around fast enough to shoot him before he shot me. Anyhow, i was shot in the upper thigh from about 1 foot away, and the guys velocity must have been way above 300 fps because its been over a month and i still have a small bruise and it has scared my leg.

some noob went trigger happy after he shot me when i was hiding behind a bunker, i got up to walk off and he went trigger happy on my groin area, luckily he missed my jewels but only by several centimetres, he left about 7 bruises and i couldnt really walk straight for awhile. got my revenge couple games later when i flanked him and shot him 12 times in the back muhahahaha

This like my 4th time playing paintball, man I'm haveing a blast despite all the welts I get each time I play. I have a stock steel iceblue spyder xtra. It's a great gun. It has not chopped once since I got it. I use draxxus dusk paint ruby/pearl w/ white fill. Paintball is the only sport I will play. All others I don't like, they are boring. I try to go play every other weekend. I have a cousin who plays w/ me off and on. Acually he is the one who got me into pb in the first place. Well I don't have much more to say about paintball besides it's fun. I don't think there many girls who play, but I'm glad I'm one of them! :)

Mine aren't too bad(they go away quick too, which sux cuz I like to show them off), no pics but a decent story. We were playing speedball(not my favorite), I took a hit square in the shoulder it busted neat as-you-please I yelled hit and stood up, gun first(no barrel bag), A literal hail of paint. So I put on my barrel bag and tried again. Two in the chest one in the top of my head(didn't break) I got hit about six extra times, pissed me off something awful. I had symetrical bruises on my back and stomach, they were almost perfrctly in line. I had one on my arm too that bled i little, didn't even notice it until someone looks at me and says "your bleeding" I look and reply "I guess I am." That adrenaline stuff really helps.

p.s. I will agree with woramorf, Cindy, you are pretty, paintball chicks rock!

a few weeks ago i was playing with some firends...it was 3vs1...i was only man left on my team...i got 2 in front of me...then i heard shots behind me...so i turned around...got shot 6 times in the stomach once in the face(mask on)once in the neck and once in my wrist...that paintball hit a nerve in my wrist and i could not feel my arm for about a half an hour and my whole arm was shaking...i still have a welt on my stomach frin 2 weeks ago...

I took a shot point blank in my achilles tendon, just above my boot. We were screwing around after we had pretty much rapped thing up for the day and one a my friends thought it would be a good idea to shoot me in the foot. My whole leg went nuts for a sec, it had to be one of the most painful hits I've ever taken. It was kinda funny tho 'cuz I was hoppin' around on my other foot cussing up a blue streak looking for something to shoot him with(i was outta paint). Then we walk into this clearing with families of nice normal citizens enjoying their backyards...kind of embarassing, but all good in retrospect.

Didn't get bunkered but when a guy tried to bunker me I ran around the other side of my standup and there were 3 people running right at me. So this guy has the flag and gets shot in the throat and drops the flag. We all get closer cause he is yelling about how bad it hurt. was at a tourney in wasaga beach years ago and the field we were on was shaped kinda like a dog's water bowl ... started on the outer ring (low) and had to advance up the hill and then down to the centre to get the flag and, of course, hang on your opponent's station for the win ...

came down to a 1 on 1 and i grabbed the flag and hung it on the other teams station - rules said that ends the game. the other guy gets to the top of the 'rim' and starts shooting me .. naturally i start to unload on him and by the time we were finished our barrells were touching each other's arms and we're both yelling "game's over you've lost!!!"

refs were standing back just shaking their heads and as they walked both of us off the field (DRIPPING with paint) they just looked at the head ref and said "two LIVE players" then they turned and just went back on the field laughing.

ran into each other this summer and our scars are still noticable. just laughed it up (now):crazy:

Alot of fields use tourney grade paint and charge a poopload for it because its good quality and they dont allow BYOP. Tourney grade breaks easier but costs a little more

my wife got a 32 degrees chest and back protector and wanted to try it out... so i stood about 30 feet away and shot her in the back with it... she said it hurt still, but not as bad (like they hurt bad anyway:rolleyes: ) so then it's my turn... i put it on, and it just barely covers my chest, but i tell her to take a shot anyway. she stands 15 feet away and takes a shot... now these paintballs had been sitting in my very cold garage, so they were probably a little frozen, and of course the one time i want her to hit a target, she misses. she hit me about a half inch under the vest right on my ribs. this picture was taken right at first, but it swelled up big time and got very big and round. it looks like a freakin nipple!

Ok...i got 2 stories....One day i was playing at this field wiht my friends and it was 2 on 2 sooo my friend gets this kid out and then the other guy gets my friend out sooo itz now me and this other kid...soo i run up to bunker him and i run around the bunker and say BANG since were not allowed to bunker in REC ball at this field...all of a sudden the kid screams and shoots me at least 7 times right in my chest...it made 3 bleeding spots and 1 spot is still on my chest...FROM 4 FREAKIN MONTHS AGO!

ive got tons of bruises but they've all faded away too much to be worthy of photography.

my newbie cousin thought it would make his Tippman 98 better if he turned the velocity up all the way on his marker. i didnt know he had it up.

i got shot in the hip right in between my pants belt and my gear belt and it made a bruise that was about 4 inches in diameter.

then another time during the same game, i did a blind shot for fun, around the side of a tree. he shot me RIGHT IN THE UPPER ARM! it hurt so bad i almost dropped my marker.

thats when we quit and i realized his marker was shooting ridiculously high.

needless to say, we didnt have a chrono.

I was playing two weeks ago and was the last player on my team still in. I was standing behind 2 big barrels that had slit down the middle. I didnt notice that my right arm was exposed thru the slit. Needless to say I got shot on the right arm, but when I looked down to see if it broke or not I caught one right behind the left ear. I couldnt hear for about 2 minutes. i was playing at some backwoods tourney a couple of weeks ago and i aquired these. i play front and i was at the 50, i had already polled the flag and i hear my backman telling me i've got someone in my mirror. then i hear this guy ripping on his nasty imp and i bunkered him. well, i think it was considered bunkering, but i went over the top, which turned out to be a mistake. i shoot a mag and have a slow finger to boot so this guy was getting about 10 balls for every 2 i shot. anyway, i came over the top put 2 on his chest and got shot 8 times. 6 onmy right arm(pic), 1 on my left hand, and one on the mask. the guy had pretty good reflexes. we were both called even though i had obviously shot him first.

i know of a vid on pbnation.com, ill post a like asap. The one dude had like a DM5, i dont really remember, a week since ive last seen it. He had his buddy stand on the far end of the hall in his house. To make sure there'd be no paint breaking in the house, they used reballs. His buddy that wuz getting shot had to have been wasted, cuz the shooter unloaded a whole hopper on him. He didnt even flinch. I flinched more than he did. I was playing at my field (MVP) and I happened to be one of the better players there. There is this newbie on my team who also seems to have some sort of physical disability because he is shaking really badly and seems to have a hard time speaking. We lined up and I told him I would like to go to the far outside rolly, I asked him to please move inside, but just then the ref yells, "3..2..1..GO!" I started to take off when the kid (who hadn't moved) just shot me in the back of my head (under the beanie). I sat there and just groaned for like 20 seconds, a period where the entire noob force on my team got shot out. So, me and two other good players proceeded to knock the snot out of the opposing woodsball team. After the game my head hurt for about 3 weeks and swelled up so it looked like I had a lemon growing out of my head.

I got this my first day out. I ran up to the upper level of a fort, and long story short, I got shot right in the knuckle from about 4-5 feet away. Luckily I got the guy first, he claimed he didn't realize it though until after he thought he got me. He didn't give me any crap though, and he went out and I attempted to play for about another 30 seconds before the round was up. You can see where some of the dried blood didn't come off with the ****ty towellettes they gave me. Haha, it was so funny, I had blood dripping off the tips of fingers, and when I walked the the front of the field to get some first aid, a few 10 yr olds were just getting there and saw it. They were freaked out. But, I had a huge smile on my face cause I had so much fun, that they couldn't have been too afraid :D.

I don't have pictures of them, but I was standing on the corner of a 'fridge, and I looked over, and both my team members where gone, making it 1 VS. 3.....So I stood on the corner of the 'fridge firing at one opponent, and then I hear "Your 9 O'clock!" So I look the other way, when "POP! POP!"

The one on my 9 hit me above my knee on my left leg, and then the one on my 2 O' Clock hits me in the same exact place, but on my right leg. Neither of them breaking.....I called myself out either way, and no, I don't regret it.

So I was in an indoor speedball course with me at the back left and my noob teammate on the right. So its near the end of the game and there are two guys on their team advancing. One of them is on my left the other on my right. BOTH are shooting at me so I try to tell my teammate to get the guy on my right since his whole body is out because hes shooting at me. My teammate doesnt hear me yelling at him so what happens? First I get bunkered from the guy on my left. Im like **** got hit maybe 4 times no big deal I raise my gun up when the guy on my right bunkers me and gets me on the under thigh 2nd most tender body part. Got double bunkered. Please reply if this has ever happened to you

The second one was from 5 feet away. I toko the pic RIGHT after, so it wasnt fully swollen and red yet. a few days later it looks like a half dollar sized hickey. lol. The first one left a scar.

We were down to a 5v5 firefight (like, 20ft range, hope-to-god-you-don't-get-pwned-when-you-peek kinda range), and the ref was trying to move across the field. He must have announced it like 5 times, and some 8-year-old kid still shot him (just once, in the leg). The ref started screaming at him, and the kid started crying, so everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) started shooting the ref, all at once. He was pink from head to toe when he got off the field. He got all quiet, quit his job on the spot, stormed off to his car, climbed in (still covered in pink paint), and we never saw him again.
I really wish I got a picture, over 100 shots from 10', he would have been one big walking bruise.

Luckily, I had a friend who had just got a mag, and we played out in our usual outlaw field. Went to a local field a cople days later. He chronos the mag at 541 fps!!!!:eek: Thank goodness he didnt hit any of us with that. Btw it sounded like a shot gun and had the kick to boot.

Well mine may not seem like much but I dont bruise. Its on my the inside of my knee And hurt really bad. It happened when I running up to a tree for cover in a game of woodsball. The tree was about 2 feet wide and I knelt down to get a lower profile. Then the other guy that was there started to fire to keep me bihind the buncker as he advanced.I didnt know it buy my knee was sticking out a little bit and got shot from like 12 yards.

I got shot in the throat at paintball city it was nasty and started to bleed. The guy who shot me (huge newb) was nagging at me how i wasnt wearing an apron thingy. In the end i walked off the field and one of my best friends came and helped me out. I was on the ground after the shot. Bruise is gone but it was nasty a bloody, painted thoat. Funny thing is this was one of my fears.

i've got one on my wrist where i got bonus balled when i raised my hand after being shot... the scar is still there, it healed over about a month ago but the scar prob won't leave for a while. This is why i hate noobs that sneak in their own Wal-mart paint in their hopper or pods.
