problem solved...thanks!
not sure on metric, standard, or any of that.. but www.tarantulamfg.com can rethread it for you for like 85 bucks.. its pricey, but it will get done right and you wouldnt have to worry about it.
i also know a kid who jb welded his feedneck back on, and hasnt had a problem with it.

use the hand threader, i do it all the time, you may want to use loctite on the screws after you rethread though...i do it on my spyder all the time! And spyders are made of the same material impy's are so it should work fine!

Are the threads in the body damaged, or just the feedtube, or both? You may be able to chase the threads if they aren't too far gone, but they will be more delicate than new. If you get it straigtened out, assemble it with red loctite or green retaining compound and let it set overnight. If that doesn't work, then either the body needs to be repaired, or you need a new feedtube, or both. ;) Good luck. The threads are standard 32 pitch by the way.
