i have an intimidator

what is the poppet????
and how do i clean it???:confused:

It is also called the exhaust valve or just valve.
Remove the two screws that hold the grip frame on.
CAREFULLY pull the grip frame down and back a little.
Remove the screw that holds the regulator housing in place and GENTLY pull the regulator housing out the front.
If you are carefull, the hose to the soleniod will remain attached.
Look in the front and you will see a spring.
Remove the spring and carefully reach in with a pair of long needle nosed pliers and grab the valve.
Pull it out and lube the shaft with DOW 55.
BE CAREFUL AND DON"T SCRATCH THE little white disk as that is the cup seal and will leak like crazy if scratched.
Put it all back together.

Or, I put something up in the Maintenance FAQ (towards the last few pages) that is another way to get the valve out. Just push it in with your finger, slam the bolt forwards and it should pop right out
