how to change an o-ring

ok, i've already searched for this and i couldn't find any info for how to change an o-ring. what do u take it off with? thanks

i just use a pocket knife to cut it off
then stretch the new o-ring onto the bottle

here's what i do:

pinch the sides so a little bit of the o-ring sticks up. then roll that over the edge of whatever the o-ring is on. should come off easy.
