I am depressed, my mom wont let me buy a gun when she already said i could, any idea?

My mom wont let me get a paintball gun, i was planning on getting an xtra. Please can you tell me any ideas for getting my mom to get me the gun?

Don't ask you parents to buy it for you. Ask you parents for jobs and save money from other odd jobs. Pretty soon you will hae all the money you need. Work a deal out with your mom if you want her to pay for part of the gun. Just don't go up to her and say my life is boring, buy me a paintball gun.

And me? A high end gun? HA! Don't I wish... Me? I'm a Tippy owner. Sure I've got the flatline on it, but I don't necessarily consider that "high end" necessarily. But, being a Tippy owner, that might be why I didn't know what an "xtra" was.

I don't pay much attention to Spyders. ;)

Well my dad has been a police officer for 22 years...I shot my first gun (a .380 semiauto pistol) when I was 8 at the police shooting range. I got my first gun (.22 LR rifle) when I was 11 for my b-day. I've taken all the hunters ed courses and passed flawwlessly, went hunting, etc... I've shot numerous guns: my dad has a .45 mil spec colt, 9mm forget the brand, .380 also forget the brand but i believe colt also. We also have a couple of rifles and shotties in the family. I also had the privlage of shooting a H&K mp5 at the police training range a couple of months back...all I have to say is don't get on the wrong end of one of those things!

Needless to say when I asked for a paintball gun my dad handed me his credit card and gave me one of those "whatever kid" looks! Of course I had to pay him back for it.

Last year he also insisted I get a credit card (i was then 15) to learn responsibility..... BAD ****ING IDEA! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

um not that i condone this but...

You could just get someone else to buy the gun, like a friend thats of legal age.
Thats what i did, except i never asked my parents. I was 17 and decided i was fed up with rentals and asked my gf to get it for me. When my parents saw it they had a talk with me and i explained that they let me ride a bike so why not paintball. I got both taken away for a week till my dad said what the hell your gonna be 18 in a year so its your choice.

As for where your going to keep the marker your on your own.

same here, IN the beginning they didnt want me to get one,!!! after i talk to them calmy about paintball... and one christmas they said yes for a spyder...! Now i only kept my money for paintball and parent dosnt give a damn now,

It worked great...she still doesn't know he owns it, and he's about to sell it for freaking retail price! lmao. My brother's kind of a swindler...if he ever gets online, I'll make sure you guys know, so he doesn't rip you off.
