my brother recently decided to sell his stupid tippman 98c w/flatline and he's revamping his entire paintball gear.

He's pretty much hooked on getting a Micromag arenaball

That's what he's gonna order from proteam products website...
(actually I would be orderign it, since he doesnt' have a credit card, but that's beside the point)

now it doesn't come with a regulator....so finally hear's my question. what regulators will work and which regs should he stay away from...

He wants a BM ergo regulator, but I'm not sure if you can get it up to the desired high pressure of a mag. Any suggestions? He's trying to stay with the all chrome/nickle look of the gun

He's getting a DYE SS for it as well...it should be a pretty sweet gun once he's got it all running and crap.

hmmm...I'm really mag stupid, they have a built in reg already? Does that reg exist in the micromags? or did they remove it? ARGH, I dont' want to waste any money on a reg, if my brother doesnt' need it.

Yeah, you could look in th FAQ, or we could explain. All Mags come with a regulator built into the valve. So dual regulating your gun would be kind of pointless. Hope that helps.

Micromags come with a good Armson barrel stock. They also come with an internal reg. If you buy another reg, you might starve the gun and cause shoot down. If he were to get a micromag, I would suggest getting a foregrip and dropforward.

They already have a reg built in. All Mags do.

I don't know if you are sold on the "Arenaball" model, but here's another good Pro-Team Mag. Cheaper too.
