barrel comparison/question

which barrel should i get.
the dye stainless barrel
or the lapco bigshot.

i can get them for around the same price (maybe the dye stainless even cheaper)
so i want to know what you guys think

i know the mainstream opinion on both of these barrels is amazing.

they both are aestetically pleasing, but i want to know about accuaracy.

i might actually get both, because one is 14'' and one is 11.5'' :)

I have a 12" Dye SS and it shoots great. The Dye also has enough porting to make my Xtra quiter but that doesn't really matter to me. I have heard good things about the Lapco bigshot too. It's your call.

well i love my big shot, with a good paint match it is incredibly accurate. its actually not that loud at all, but then again its on a bushy :rolleyes: i presonally would go with the big shot, but its your call

i had my mind set on bigshot...
but then i saw that they were selling NEW SS's for 50 bucks!
that got my attention.

i am super confused now.
first i wanted lapco, now i don't know anymore...

they seem almost the same, but one is under Lapco, one is under DYE....
i like the look of both of them....
i think what it comes down to now, is which one i will find cheaper, and which length is best.

well i think (because i have owned 2 and this is what i have noticed) that big shots have the smoothest surface inside the barrel that i have ever seen. its like looking at perfectly smooth mirror or something. and also the big shot has less perting so it is going to be more gas efficient, where as the dye will use more gas (co2 or hpa)
