heres a dumb question

i just about got all the parts i need to hook my timmy up.
i was trying to connect the steel hose to the elbows but wont go in all the way. is the hose suppose to be connected flush with the elbows? should i use gease on them?

also, i got the macdev gladiator the other day but also got
a PE THOR REGULATOR/CRADLE (i went crazy buying a bunch of sh$t on the net). do you think these will work together or is this overkill??:confused:

No it should not be flush. The elbows are taper fit so they will not go completely in, not without screwing the threads all to hell. However, just make sure that you used teflon tape on the elbows, or they won't seal, and you will not be a happy camper
