Can you say Custom Products Grip Reg???
Not to bashon you, the Sidewinder is a very nice reg. If it was my money I would have looked at the CP reg though. It has all the preformance of the Sidewinder and comes in somewhere between 20-30dollars less than the Winder.
Enjoy your Winder it should give you a lot of trouble free playing time.

I would have to agree with Travis on this one. CP's regulator design with the disk stack and large piston are nice. The price makes them more attractive.
I am a palmer devote however.

Sure the CP is nice, but did they have to make it so look so...phallic?

I like the look of the CP reg. I got the extended version, because the standard is too short.

I have both and cant really complain both do exactly as advertised. If i had to do it all over again I probably would have 2 CP Grip Regs but at the time didnt know about them (dont even know if they were out at that time) so I got a Winder

too short to grip... the CP reg comes in 4 diff sizes.
the small version which is (1) just the reg, (2) the reg and gauge port, (3) the reg and extended macroline bottom, and (4) the reg w/ gauge port and extended bottom.
I have the one w/ the gauge port and extended bottom. the size is perfect. i've seen people with the #1 and jeeze, it's tiny! also, i remember reading in a thread here that Travis said the #4 is best because it holds more post regulated air or something to that affect.
