Help, question?

Hey guys,

Just received my package from Fom today.

Got myself a silver vert reg Impulse with a mouse-click pull Blade trigger, chrome lightning drop and a 20oz antisiphon on/off.

Went to the local shop to get the tank filled, gassed it up, and ripped a few strings...of air, that is.

Thing is...the bolt will fire once, and then stay back. I already checked, and it's connected to the hammer just fine.

I'm thinking maybe you need to shoot paint...but then I haven't seen a 'gun where you can't just shoot air...

Anyone know what the problem is?

If you mean it stays FORWARD, it could be that you just need paint. Some Impulses do that when you dry fire, it depends on the dwell and pressure settings.

Nope, not what I mean.

I gun doesn't fire if the bolt is in the back position.

So I put it in the forward position, fire, and the bolt goes back, and stays back.

I'm still waiting for more responses, posted on PBNation as well.

I'm about to try gassing it up again to check it out.

Awesome, just gassed it up, ripped on it, and fired perfectly. Can't wait 'till next Saturday when I can take it out to the field.
I sympathize the poor player who runs CO2 on his Impulse but doesn't have any gloves...I noticed how cold the Vert Reg gets and how it frosts. Fingers are frozen right now, since I didn't bother putting on gloves. :D

well, like wolvy on pbnation said, welcome to the club. my impy, which i conviently got from an idiot who pured jbwled into it, , is having MAJOR TROUBLES,, its at SP now there cleaning it,

Wow -- you realy got me on this one man. I showed that gun off to several fokes, and we test fired it a humber of times because it has the new VooDoo full flow vert. I fired it for severl fokes because it SEEMS like it is so much faster with the full flow

And all of that just makes me wonder what the heck was going on--esp when it left here great, was fobar there-- then cured its self! You shouldn't even be able to push the bolt forward if its gased up!-- Hopfuly the gremlins have left, and everything will be good from now on.

My baby seems so exploited. Hehe.

It's fine now, I was hitting a sweet spot and the 'gun was firing like a turbo.

I didn't even realize right off the bat that it had a full flow.

I noticed the SP Logo jewel on the vertical adapter and wondered if you had put one on, but until you told me, I didn't even know! :P

Very sweet 'gun, I like it a lot. Can't wait to play with it next Saturday!

She is WaY FASTER then turbo man!

I had one guy try to buy her from me. NO, not one just like her-- he didn't think I counld make another as fast (I showed him!) he kept insisting I sell that ONE gun to him! I ended up having to sell him one of the team guns I had just set up--only to have the owner of that new team gun walk in and ask it it was done before the guy had left!

I'll tell you one thing-- it caused a run on full flow verticals!
