how can you polish the 98 stock barrel?

i read somewhere that if you polish the stock barrel that it is really accurate. anyone know how to do this or ever done it?

i've done it it makes it a wee bit more accurate i havent used it in a game b/c i have other barrels
anyhoo this is how i did it
get a stick that fits trough the barrel and still has around 3cm of room left get a paper towl fold it up and wrap it around the tip and use some tape to keep it in place. Make it a tight fit but not too because the friction is going to pull it off if you dont use enough tape and make it too tight
go to k-mart and buy some Blue/Magic metal polish cream or any other metal polish dip the tip of the stick with the paper towel on it into the polish and start scrubbing the inside of the barrel with it its messy and takes a while but it’ll get shiny

i have doen this and i have found it to be the best way i got a 10" pattern form 60ft

take a dowel and cut a slit in one end so you can put cloth in it

get some turtle wax corme polish and put it on the rage and put the rag in the dowel put the dowel in ta drill and go up and down the barrel abourt 20 time for 5 min

and take it out and put a clean scrap of cloth on the dowel and go up and down the barrel for about 2 min

then take a new scrap and put some kind of aluminum (ex. others or eagle one) and coat the inside and then take a new scrap of cloth and rin it up and down for about 5 min

that gives it the best shine and makes it very accurate!

Dang a 10" from a stock barrel is pretty nice ill have to try it

Brasso ate the inside of one of my barrels, so now its a large (kinda) bore paint(.689 to now about .690), so be careful.

Brasso has some sort of alkline or acid in it

if you use it on aluminum you must pour either vinagar or baking soad to counter act the effects of it so it will become neutral
