From the web page:
"Our Tech Department will be closed the week of October 22-26. During that week, our techs will be at the World Cup in Orlando. No factory repairs will be done during the World Cup."
You just have your gun there at a bad time. No reason to not be upset tho. I too have had both good and bad experances with their tech support.

That's tough. Let them know, and maybe they'll make it up to you.

Sig, they are all at the world cup right now. They will get it back to you. Try asking on the agd website, I think tom and co ar checking in on it. Who knows, they might kick you down some extras if your nice about it.

I just got a used minimag and was looking for the stars you guys were talking about. What exactly are they and where would they be located at on the valve, I looked all over my valve and didn't see anyplace that might have ever been at, Could the valve I have be older than the star system?

I really doubt it's older than the star system. It's on the side of the valve near the back.

Why do you doubt that it's older than the star system? That hasn't been around all that long. I only know one person of my at least ten or so Mag owning friends that have a stared valve. The rest of us all have pre star valves. My mini serial is 12xxx, thats a whole lotta guns out there with no stars, and that's just minis.

I just doubt it. I could be wrong. It HAS happened before.

I'll have to check again when I get home from work, I had the valve off the gun last night and looked all over it but didn't see the stars. But i do know that the guy I bought it from used it in the 98-99 tournament season and the one of the Nitro tanks I got with the gun is dated 97, so I imagine it is a fairly old gun. If i can find my crap to upload from my digital camera I'll try and snap a pick of the valve, or post the first 2 digits of the serial number

ok, no pics, but the serial number is MM03XXX
so im guessing its probably prestar?
If so what does that mean in terms of customer service, am I just sol if it goes out?

From AGD
"Older markers without stars laser engraved above the serial number We will continue our free service policy (except for abuse) for the following markers
(effective 1/1/2000):
AUTOMAGs with serial numbers greater than 30000
MINIMAGs with serial numbers greater than 8000"
