upgradin guns

dont u guys love upgrading guns? man.....if i had 300$ to spend on only upgrades...nad if i was forced to do nothing but upgrade my m98 with 300$....i'd have sooo much fun buyin upgrades and installing them myself...hm..new powertube...powerfeed....new barrel...double trigger with guard...vertical adapter....intruder assault x chamber...anti siphon tube....rocket cock....revvy......man i'd have so much fun.

im pretty much broke but im havin loads of fun upgrading my spyder compact 2k i mean sometimes i screw my barrel on and off for the fun of it :P

I have allreay spent over 275 on upgrades. I have about $600 more in upgrades coming when I get the cash(which will me soon)

My new cocker body, asa, back block, beavertail, frame, df, and reg body are packaged up and ready to be sent to White Wolf for milling and chrome plating.

Ive got most of the parts I need laying around the shop, except front pneumatics I just need to decide whether I want to make a sniper or a cocker.

Have you guys ever totally screwed something up while trying to upgrade it? I almost ruined my trigger assembly with a dremel tool. Laziness got to me and instead of sanding the sear down by hand, i slapped a disc on the ole dremel tool and fired it up. Sparks flew and before I knew it my sear was worn down to almost nothing.

Or how about stupid mystakes when you reassemble your gun? Last Saturday I played all day and only got about half as many shots out of a tank as a should have. That night I realized that I had accidentally replaced the tornado valve spring backwards.

These circumstances cause on-field stress, sometimes resulting in heart attacks and severe strokes.

I've got only 2 upgrades (3 if you include the barrel which I ordered and am STILL waiting on) on mine, I have a rear velocity adjuster and a double trigger.

I am debating on if I want to put an expansion chamber on or not, since I am going to buy a nitro tank sometime in the near future. Anyone got some advice on this?

But on any account, I agree that it is fun to upgrade your marker and watch it evolve into a new "design" so to speak.
