I am not sure if there is a "set" psi for the input pressure. But you should be running it around 180psi. You could go as low as you want, but you may not get good efficancy.

yep because if you set it at 120 and like dwell 18, you'll only get like 300-400 shots from a 68 tank *ouch I got about 800 from a 68 tank with a pressure of 180 and dwell of 9.

Those were the figures of my impulse when I first bought it. I only had a new designz delrin bolt in it back then.

Ya I have a 68/3000 and I get about 800 shots of it when my psi is set at 180 and dwell about 8 or 9.

Check the FAQ (http://www.kamworld.net/paintball/ImpulseFAQ.html).

#1 What is the normal operating pressure?

Normally the Impulse will operate at about 140-180 psi. With upgrades this number can be dropped. Additionally with an LPR you can have one low pressure for the bolt and one higher pressure for the propulsion.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, that came straight from the FAQ.
