is it loud with the stock barrel and is it really necessary to buy a loader revolution

No the Impulse is rather quiet, However if you were to get the AA barrel it quiet down even alittle more.
It's not that ya gotta have the revy, It is more of a you'd wish ya did! Imps can rip off alot shots really quickly, and and revy will help make sure there's a ball to each one of those shots!
