I dont know about the A5 much, but Im sure its not much different than the custom. Pen spring needs to be cut to the same length as the stock trigger return spring. Its the one in front by the safety.

Also I dont see why the 2trigger wouldnt work w/ the Egrip. If so, you couldnt walk the trigger in semi and that would be a waste. Thats one reason why ppl go electro right.

ur not gonna get a mouse-click grade pull from a mech trigger. if i had the a-5 i would surely get an egrip

Make sure you get the GTA double trigger with your e-grip and you should be ok.

You can replace the return spring with literly any spring, I wouldn't recommend cutting it down but you could. Just find a spring and if it has less tension swap it out and see if it works.

You can buy a "Mad Man Spring Kit" as well, just search for it in google or some other search engine.

As for the double trigger I'm going to agree with Henry VII, as long as you use the GTA double trigger you will be fine with the e-grip. The main problem, and rumor buzzing around, is that the double trigger doesn't work with the E-Grip, the GTA one does, the aftermarket (Psycho Ballistics, Dead On, etc) didn't work well (sometimes not at all) with the E-Grip. The aftermarket designs were slightly different than the GTA, so they didn't function properly.

You can look up the Straw/Q-Tip/Toothpick mod up too, that's to get your E-grip and other mechanical trigger, even shorter. Good luck.

I used one of those fancy doctor pen springs for my rear spring and i am not sure but i believe i used the rear spring and put it up on the front.(im 2 lazy 2 check) Anyway,i can fire A LOT faster with the new springs.I tried the qtip mod and it shortened the pull alot but the pull was very heavy sp i took it off. Hope this helps

Make sure you leave the sear spring stock or the sear will not return fast enough causing double fires and lots of chopped balls. Replacing the trigger spring with a pen spring is perfectly fine.

use ortho bands they work better and u dont have to trim them go buy them at walmart or something. And just rap some tape around the sear i think it is and ur good to go may take adjusting.
