Hey guys, anyone who has done the PMI regulator install, how the heck do I set it up? I can get as far as getting all my hoses, etc installed, and the pmi reg on the gun, no leaks when the tank is open...

however, I guess the default setting for the reg is too low, cause when I fire, there's not enough gas to blow the bolt back, so I have to hand-cock it (no jokes please).

I know I am supposed to use the alan head tool to turn the nut inside the reg, but I guess my question is how much, when do I know if I'm done? Do I need a chrono for this? DO I need a gauge?

WHAT'S UP? My local shop guy cursed when he heard I got one, said I should send it back to pbgear.net. I find this odd, but I don't hold him or his shop in high respect at all.

Anyways, any info is greatly appreciated. Now, if I could ever get my chrome Custom Products 2" drop, I'd be in good shape.

U can put a guage on ur reg, so u cant tell ur pressure. The best thing to do is to just slowly increase the re guntill u thik ur shooting around the appriate spped for ur sifeld, and then chrnon, and adjust with ur velocity adjuster. U can have a guage mounte on ur asa adaptor, like idid, to tell what pressure ur at

the hyperflow regs are good, but i don't like the fact that it's stuck to the bottle..maybe if you wanna change your N2 primary reg, you cuold, although i wouldn't know how, but i would just get an inline reg instead..

an inline reg is a regulator that goes in place of your expansion chamber or forgrip. A good regulator for the money is the PMI Pure Energy Reg. Very nice reg that can be used very well with both Co2 and N2. I think they're like 50 dollars at http://www.pbgear.net

what exactly is involved in "getting one tapped" ? I'm not familiar with the terminology.

to drill and tap a hole is to make a threaded hole somwhere so that certain threads can be fit.To drill/tap a 10/32 hole means that objects with 10/32 htreading, such as guages, will be able to go there.
