Idea for new feature

Smack me if this is already on the homepage, I so rarely go there. But it would be neat if there was an interactive calendar that we could post upcoming events to, like tournaments, scenario/big games, or just walk-on games. what ya think?

I was thinking about doing it, but there is already a great one at warpig.com

WARPIG has such a national and international following that I think they miss a lot of the small town, local type action. Take for instance, there are about 10 paintball fields within one hour of where I live, and i've only seen one listed on WARPIG's calendar, Waynes World ... the granddaddy of Scenario games ... I've never seen the smaller Rec fields have anything listed. In that Aspect, I'd say, yeah go ahead and do it.

But, on the downside, that means We, the users, would have to post this stuff, which means we'd have to scratch up the info and get it on the board. I guess, if no one decided to post to the calendar, you could always take it down.

good idea...i usually go to warpig.com for the calender stuff..but they only cover like the HUGE games...it's annoying..and hten i find out that Maryland had like 2 scenario games that weekend, when i was sitting at home in front of the tube..:P a calender would really be helpful..plus it would get more visitors to this site..although that it has grown like crazy over the past few months..

why dont you have certin people from certin areas give you like a 2 week update on the area they live in? Like I would be glad to help out and notify you of up coming tournies and scenerios in the SoCal area.

is it possible to integrate the log on process for the forums and e-mail function. I just signed up for a PBReview e-mail address, and it'd be cool if I signed into the forums and got a notice telling me I have email, nothing gawdy, just maybe a simple message at the top of the forums screen that says "You have 2 new email messages. Anyway, something to think about.
