Could an impulse i frame be modded to fit a b2k4? It has a built in tray, im not sure if it would be deep enough for the solenoid, also it looks longer than a normal frame? Iv only seen vids of them and seen them in pix. So im askn, maybe a few of u have owned or shot i frames? So do u guys think it can be done?

Can it be? Yes.
Is it worth it? No.

For what you would wind up paying to have it done correctly its not even worth it.

Custom frame from Acidcustoms is under $200.
Eaton ripper from CNC is $85

I absoluely love the way Ripper frames look. Are they nice Polemos? I've been thinking about getting one because I'm not a huge fan of the OTB frame.

what makes the ripper better than a stock 04 frame?

That really would be killer if there was an I-Frame for Bushmasters. Too bad HSW doesn't make Bushy upgrades. They are sweet, but not worth the time and money for modding one to fit.

Captfuzzy -

I don't have first hand experiance with them. The people that have used them like them, easy to set and they are stunning to look at.

is the otb frame much faster than a stock frame? or is it mainly for looks and comfort?

OTB frames are extremely easy to walk, and very comfortable to hold. They're vertical too, which reduces profiles when snap shooting. They are really nice, I just don't like the way they look and they aren't comfy for my style of playing.

The comfort level was my gripe about them too.

Yoda - stop knocking 'em back dude, you're going to hurt yourself.

Polemos - Isn't it strange? The OTB's are comfy to hold in the firing range, but in game they'd hinder my playing ability because of the uncomfortability... :(
