For those of you out there thinking about buying a timmy bolt for your TES, don't do it.

I just got back from my local pro shop. They didn't have a bolt for a TES, so I got a Shocktech superfly bolt for a timmy. The pin is too thick. In addition to being irremovable, the pin is too wide to fit in the striker, (I think that's what it's called).

I don't know yet if they will take it back, but get a bolt specifically designed for a TES.

Also, if you have any ideas about how to fix my dilemma, I am open to any suggestions.

here's what you do- loosen the screw in the back of your bolt so you can get the pin out if it's in too tight. take your TES bolt pin and put it in the timmy bolt. Make sure the pin detent screw is in tight enough so the pin doesnt pop out when you're shooting.
