ok, I just recently got myself an adjustable stock, and well, I figured this would happen but was hoping I'd be able to use the stock sight my 98c came with, but no such luck... would a raised sight rail be ideal for using as a traditional sight? I'm talking looking down the rail on the lapco raised sight rail, I know it's a little further down, and that probably would help, because I like aiming and shooting, snappy like :D, I probably wouldn't be adding a scope or anything. This question DEPENDS on YOUR opinions, would this work well, would it be WORTH it? thanks in advace!

ya, a raised sight rail would do fine. they are a great alternative the the one that comes on stock. don't expect much diff in ur game though, as this is mainly adding looks:eek:

go with the new m-4 style one that's out. It's pretty cheap ($45), and will look great with your stock. it's also adjustable where as most other sight rails are not. Here's the link:

I know it's more expensive than the lapco but it's worth the extra for it to be adjustable. M-4 style peep sights are really quick sighting too. I'm in the same ball park as you actually. I just got an adjustable stock but can't sight down my gun anymore with my mask on. I'm getting this sight rail to fix the problem.

dontfconmigo, do you know what size you can mount that on?

And a raised sight wont do much to help you "aim" or wutever. With the stock, eventually you will just be able to kinnda know where your going to hit by the way your holding the gun and not really need any sights, theyre mainly for looks....but im wonderin how that m-4 sightrail would look on my flatline....:|

I mean will the lapco work for looking down and aiming using it as a sight. not with a sight, you know what I am saying right? When you first get your gun you use the sights that come on your gun will the lapco be practical for this use?

I bought a raised sight/carry handle at the local Gun & Knife Show (Bill Goodman) for $40.00 out the door. I paid $6.00 dollars to get in. http://www.gunshow.net/

They have handguards too.
These are real military items and not cheap knock offs or cheap plastic.

I even took my 98C inside to make sure it fit!
