ive shot mavrics and ive shot traccers and the mav is a lot more accurate

definately trade the trracer SA for it. either the ACI maverick or the PMI trracer pump. they are the same. if you get upgreades, it will shoot like a phantom.

mainly because the peice of crap trracer sa snapped in half and launched half the bolt up my barrel ......


do you have any suggestions of good upgrades?
i know i wanna change teh grip frame.
and barrel. but what barrel? and where do you get grip framses?

A nice Semi for $65!? I hope you arent referring to the Trracer SA or a Stingray er something. Get the Mav, it'll hone your skill and can easily keep up in rec games.

mav's are 65? nah i think they're like 100 or something you could get a spyder compact which is a ghey gun but it'll work

they is pretty good but are you going to be playing with peps with simi autos? its hard playing people with simis because they have a higher rate of fire to keep your head down

I'm not sure it makes it harder to play with a Maverick when everyone else has a Semi. Personnaly I find it to be almost more fun sometimes. You get a different kind of satisfaction from an elimination in that "perdicament". The stock barrel has NO porting, I have a 32* Terminator barrel on my Maverick, but Smart Parts also makes the Progressive and Tear Drop for it (Trracer). The Maverick IS a pain in the butt when it comes to adjusting it's velocity. To simplify matters you can mount an easily adjustable regulator in the back, and use it as a velocity adjuster, as -/+ pressure going in will effect -/+ fps coming out. Here is look at mine in use, it was at Castle Conquest 2001. Note how sexy my hair is by day 2, LOL.

give a player that usually plays with a semi a pump, and he'll get killed. give a semi to a player that usually uses a pump. and he'll kick ***. its a good thing to use pumps. it builds up your skill and makes you not rely on your marker quite as much. after a while, when you become better than guys with semis, switch to a semi, and youll beat them all.
