hey all, I just sent in a letter to the district for my area to try and get them to allow a paintball club, they said it is fine as long as I can get a sponsor or someway to get money for the club. Any ideas? shops that may support?

Try having everyone pay for it. Im sure that if they really want a paintball club then theyll pay for it. Nice name by the way

I would try asking local shops and organizations and stuff...I got a couple questions... what class is yer school? I think it would be cool to have a paintball club at school, but I'm wondering, what would you go it the club exactly? you can't pb at school... doubt you could take it to school to train people how to fix there gun or ne thing... I'm just thinkin, at a paintball club meeting...wtf would you do!?!?!

Ive been thinking about starting one at my school and it would be more of a "get everyone together from school and pwn them at the field" thing, I mean, wouldnt you want to just destroy all those noobs that talk about how their blowback is just as good as a high end? Plus, sometimes fields give group discounts. And you wouldnt have to rely on your parents for transportation if you cant drive.

Timmymaster, how did you convince them to let you start a paintball club? And how are they handling the marker to school situation. I want to start one at my school but they dont want "guns at school." Thanks

We were denied at my school, but if you are looking for funding go to local stores. I would imagine that being your best bet.

well I sort of convinced them because of a huge letter that I wrote concerning pretty much every concern and aspect of the sport. Bringing markers to school is one issue that we have been talking about, the principal and I suggested to have them bring it before or after school in a bag that conseals it. They are not allowed to open it anywhere else besides during the club and are not permitted to bring in paintballs with them cause you know what might happen.

oh and if you don't think this kind of stuff works then just go out and buy a copy of Action pursuit games. A person did the same but it was for a high school. Doesn't always happen but if you do something that is like perfect and won't have any misleading flaws then your chances are high.

For convincing, you might want to check out my sticky in the new paintballers forum. You could use a lot of the data in there.
