I bought an otb and when I took it to a shop in san francisco to get it installed there was a problem where the wiring harness had nothing to sit it on so the options were eather use stirafoam to keep it from moving around or sent it to a machinest and pay a bunch of money for him to make a mouning bracket, for now they are just using stirafoam but is there another option and how would I do it
And has anyone else had this problem.

Did u buy it directly from a dealer, if u did then send it back and get a new 1. If u didn't id go with stirafoam...

Do you mean the board has nothing to sit on?
If so, it should be fine. I just let my chaos dangle in the frame and others do the same. Haven't heard or experienced any problems yet.

It should be okay. I have an old LCD board in my 2k3 that dangles around. I haven't had a problem yet... *knocks on wood*

here look at the circuit board, dip swiches and micro processors there is nothing that secures them in the otb frame like in the stock one and the guy is using stirafoam or it would flop around

yep every person that ive heard of with the OTB frame just let your board and battery float around in the grip frame. Havent heard of 1 issue with that yet, hell I let it sit like that in my stock 2k3 frame no issues here

if u want to secure it with styrofome go ahead it wont do any damage (as long as it dont break apart and move around) otherwise just leaving it like it is is just fine to
