View Full Version : Can a blowback keep up with the accuracy of a closed bolt?

I beleive when the firing of a blowback is spaced out and the same with the closed bolt the blowback can keep up with the closed bolt in precision.

But my real question is can the blowback keep up with a closed bolt at a High ROF. With closed bolts shooting at a high rate of fire the balls do not hit the same place 3 or 4 times but they are pretty close together. I don't think that a blowback can match the precision of a closed bolt at a high rate of fire. The test they did on blowbacks vs. closed bolt in precision i beleive is flawed. I don't want to know if the guns have the same precision with the shots spaced. I want to see if they have the same precision when fired 7 bps.

I'm sure Hsuve, eltwitcho, and richy know. They are very knowledgable when it comes to these kind of things. I want to hear from them and everyone else. (Note to mods. I was going to put this in another thread but i didn't know if to put it in the blowback or high-end.) So if it isn't getting any responses I will move it.

i am going to say no, because the kick more, arent as consistent and have a worse trajectory. the trajectory with most closed bolts is very nice, they can also be very consistent . . . so my answer is no.

This goes out to Richy. Sorry about the title of this thread. I ment precision not accuracy.

How can the trajectory be any different if both guns are shooting the same FPS?

I revive this thread back from the dead.

C'mon, what do you people think. Give me some answers here.

you sould know about trajctory, you have cocker. it shoot much flatter rather than kind of arching (sp?) i dunno, this is just what i have noticed on the field, i stick with what i said earlier . . .
