is it a good idea for me to instal a vertical palmer stabilizer on an impulse and keep my max-flo on so that i have 2 regs?
would it make a big difference?

if you want to use a stabalizer this is the only way it should be used on an impulse. since the standard, and even the lp stabalizer doesn't work great at the pressures impulses work at (100-200psi), it isn't a good final reg system. what you should to is use a vertical maxflo, and a female stabalizer that screws onto your tank like a normal bottom line (you will need to by a kapp drop zone or a specific mont for the female stabalizer though). make sure the maxflo is the secondary reg though and air enters and exits it lastly before it enters the impulse. also, don't lower the maxflo's input under 600psi because hte maxflo like to have an input of 600-900psi to work well. you might just want to consider buying a sidewinder by aka, or a center flag hyperline reg, they'll work better than either of the two other reg mentioned. good luck.
