Yeah okay, he already said he loved it. You moron quit kissing Tom's *** (TK) its the same friggin gun, just put in an aluminum body. AGD manufactures the valve and all the internals, xcept it puts micromag on the valve instead of RT Pro or 68 classic.
Shut up and keep going w/ the crowd.

What info/facts do you have to back this up?

i'll get it up......
one thing is..... they make the autococker people richer cuz of the cocker threads....
the on/off pin measurements or sometimes off and need longer or shorter pins......
etc.......

I absolutely LOVE my Micromag RT 2000. It works flawlessly... Uses cocker threads (no more +$10 for barrels)... and I think it looks a lot better than the AGD RT or RT pro. It's smaller, lighter, and you still get the same high level of performance. In my opinion, this is the absolute BEST non-electro-pneumatic marker available today.

One other thing about the proteam mags is that the warrenty service takes longer if you have a problem. You have to send it to proteam, and they send it to agd, and then agd sends it back to proteam, and eventually you get your mag back. Imo, the only advantage to getting a micro is if you want to custom mill the body, or if you are just dieing to have the look.

Actually, it depends on where your problem lies (with internals or with the body). If it deals with the internals, you can send it straight to AGD. But you'll never have to worry about it, because you won't have any problems... :D

i love proteams micromag rt 2ks .. heres the one in "matte black" the nickel is cool :)
and you're so right about best nonelectro gun.. this thing looks like it rocks..i've never shot one tho. .is the trigger just like any other mag? (so you can short stroke it?)
can you choose between single/double trigger? which do you have?
is the trigger adjustable or anything..it sorta looks like it is in this pic:

Well AllOleander, first of all... thanks, I'm glad you like my setup.. I absolutely LOVE it.. but no.. I do not have any picture of my gun at the moment. I don't have a digital camera, some of my friends do but I just haven't gotten around to taking the pictures yet.
And about the trigger... it's just like that of the AGD RT or RT Pro. You can short stroke it, but it's hard to do because it kicks back with such force. So it doesn't really give you much probability of short stroking. And yes, you can choose between the standard single trigger, or upgrade to a pro series .45 grip with 2 finger trigger. I have the latter (2 finger).
As far as trigger adjustment goes... that's just like any other mag as well... it's not supposed to be adjusted... However, it is possible to lengthen/shorten the trigger rod, but I haven't, and don't plan on messing with mine. I've alway heard that if you play with a mag's trigger, you're just asking for trouble.
Well, I think that got everything answered... but as soon as I get some pics.. I'll put em up on here..

here is an ad for the micromag that shows the 2k model (no RT though) in Ultra Nickel, pro-series .45 grip frame with 2 finger trigger, and gas through fore grip... this is pretty much what mine looks like. Except mine has Clear Dye Stickies, and a chrome dove-tail drop zone instead of the pro-team drop forward. ohh.. and I forgot to mention.. mine also doesn't have that pro-dot sight on top... and I have a 12" freak system.. Stainless Back, and silver tear-drop front...You'll just have to use your imagination for the mean-time. :D

is yours vertical feed or standard? i think it comes in both..i've seen the ultra nickel in standard feed and the baclk one i posted is vertical..which one do you like?
the vert feed looks cool

I'm pretty sure that the 2k series is only available in vertical feed. The model before that was available in the other feed. However, I wanted vertical feed, so it all worked out for me.

Sigs, the only reason even remotly like your reasoning is because they come with benchmark frames, which are substandard toleranced. Any other frame and it would work just like any other mag, except lighter and threaded barrels.

I know.. i am only interested in PROTEAMS micro mags rt 2ks... they look sweet and perform awesome
how do you think they perform against electros..
IM NOT ASKING TO COMPARE MAGS VS. MICROMAGS .. if i get a mag as a backup it WILL BE the proteams micromag rt 2k in ultra nickel :D
I think im getting my electro first, and then the mag as backup (and ill prob use them both equally later :D ) .. i think im gonna get the electro first.. the Sonic LCD Bushmaster 2k2 by MacDev (i've been lookin into this for a LONNNG time .. so yes, thats the elctro im getting, but i may decide to get the micro first)
what do you think?
and the proteam micromags are very reliable yes?

The Ultra nickel ProTeams Micro Mag RT 2ks run about 699$
With a single trigger they are 599$ .. and ultranickel is about 50$ more than matte black, etc.
You can get them from www.Proteamdirect.com, www.paintballgear.com, www.paintballgeeks.com, etc.

Well.. Pro-team products has different setups for the micromag RT 2000. I can't remember all the different names and stuff that hey have for them. (Reading the following off the box mine came in) But take mine for instance, it is the "Standard Competition" edition. The standard just means that it comes with the Armson Pro-Series barrel. You can upgrade to the "Competition Plus" and get the Armson Stealth. Or to the "competition Deluxe" which will give you the Armson Stealth and also the Pro-Dot sight. All the competition ones, and I assume all the other models are available with single or double trigger. But as far as I know, they all have the same gas-through foregrip, if that's something you want I mean. And as far as the drop forward goes.. that's just something they showed in the picture.. it says that in the fine print that I cut off.

i like the drop
isn't it just a ProTeams drop? couldn't they include that if they wanted ??
Pimp_Adam
11-08-2001, 04:55 AM
it is just a pro-team drop forward.. so.. yeah.. I guess they could include it.. but I didn't like it, I wanted my tank farther forward. So I went with a dove-tail drop zone.

I would think it would shoulder well w/ a 68ci tank. I like a 2" CP Flame DF on a bushmaster, it shoulders well. I think a 68ci on this DF would be about the same.
Plus it looks cool. :D
