I'm getting a 20 oz c02 tank with antisyphon and on/off from my friend and he as a horizontal maxflow.
I was just wondering if it would still work with my imp and i've got a vert reg or do I have to get a new antisyphon installed in it?

It will still work fine, all anti syphons are the same.

on some horizontal maxflos, the tanks leak. to solve this problem, all you need to do is put an extra o-ring in the hole where you screw your tank into before you screw your tank in. that has always solved that problem with others. just my :twocents: (always wanted to use that).

All anti-syphons are NOT the same. They are set up for a specific asa and should be marked as to where the tube tip is. That is the top of the tank is marked. If you screw it into your asa and the mark is on top then you are ok. If it isn't on top, then you could get liquid into the syphon tube and into the reg.

the little mark that i'm looking for... is it just a little scratch on the on/off valve thing?

It could be. When the anti-syphon tube is installed, the tube is bent so that it is very close to the side of the tank. They also have the pin valve screwed into the asa that is being used. This way the tube can be set to the top of the tank out of any liquid. Usually they put some kind of mark on the tank or valve to determine where the top should be.
